i do love Aragorn being the center of care since he has given so much to the hobbits, Eowyn and Faramir... we need him to be the center of care as well.

I do so love the idea of Aragorn just being utterly unaware of far he's pushed and drained himself until his own body has to be like "Nope. Enough of this. We're having a sleep and we're doing it now. In the middle of nowhere? Don't care. SLEEP."

And of course the found family feels are off the charts. Very well done.

I am in complete awe of this story! It is heart warming, sweet, and so wonderfully entertaining and uplifting! Much like the books themselves! I love the innocence of hobbits you have captured so beautifully! The whole thing is a marvel to me, and I will revisit this quite often I imagine

What a marvelous story. You’re a terrific writer. Just one thing: swords weigh only about 2.5 to 3.5 or so pounds, not thirty. Even the big two-handed swords weigh little more than 4 pounds max. Warriors couldn’t lift and swing them about otherwise. According to the sword expert Ewart Oakshott, who should know, so Pippin should be able to carry Andúril across the tent to Aragorn quite featly. Just sayin’.

Another absolutely wonderful story! I am ripping through your fics with gusto and relish! I adore the camaraderie and all the wonderful details. Have I said how much I enjoy the little quotes from Tolkien's works at the top? I don't think I have. They really set the tone for the chapter. It must take an immense amount of knowledge and research to find the right quote, and you do an admirable job of selecting them. :)
