This was great fun, seeing Harry start applying himself and soaking up knowledge. The title is a little worrisome (partially kissed? Uh oh!), but I'm curious to see where you go with this idea. Very nice beginning.

I'm a little uneasy at all the cr*p Harry has loaded himself up with. Such stories often devolve into silliness and/or never complete.

Also, Harry getting partially kissed would make the tale very hard to complete well. Harry needs his own soul for obvious reasons. He needs the piece of Riddle's soul as that is the only realistic way to learn some of the things he needs to know (horcrux locations, for example).

Finally, it doesn't make sense that Harry can't change his electives. There should be almost no impact to the school in allowing such before term even starts.

Haven't seen this approach taken before. Interested in how you continue it.

I LOVE YOU. It's a smart Harry that makes sense. This is a breath of fresh air, after so many insta!smart Harry stories that seem to be floating around. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

The Creevley brothers could be distracted from following Harry or asking for autographs if he introduced them to the idea of making yearbooks and promising to sign theirs at the end of the year.

at the begining i was like, why this? i know that you do give a very believable back story, but until i read the notes it just did not click. good luck with this one. i will continue to read just about anything you put out.

you're positively brilliant at getting characters to learn things and going from one probability to another in an entirely logical and intruiging fashion, what you've written now only goes to further prove my point- i absolutely love all the nifty things that harry got, and that he's given to hermione, i love that harry looks like he's going to be closer to hermione, neville, luna and potentially the twins than he is to ron or ginny and i look forward to more

but you have a tendency not to finish things...

That's a very interesting way to motivate Harry into becoming a bookworm, seriously. It's surprising that I've never read anything like this before, considering that the explanation is so logical. I'm wondering about the title and what it has to do with the story, so I'll definitely continue reading this. Good job!
