This is really great, and I just wanted to tell you that I once drank two cans of Rockstar, then almost immediately fell asleep with my head out of a window and sunburnt half my face.

As a US Marine I can say safely, that Alex would be having quite a bit of trouble. I was shot in the chest, just barely past my heart, 2 years ago and I only just got back on active duty last month

I especially like the part where he's overhearing Fox. That part's really sweet and lovely, especially the 'he's like a brother' part. The fact Fox hid that he was coming there was quite funny, and I liked the way Alex got really sick and tired of all the other kids saying how great it would be.
Also, you've really fleshed out the characters of his friends. I like that: they're not just faceless entities, even if there are a lot of them. :)

I'll review properly in a bit, but just to say, with the Britishisms... I'm not sure it would be 'homeroom'. I think it would be 'tutor'. I've only been to one secondary school, so I don't know if it's just where I went, but that's the only thing that stands out. :)

They are from the British television series MI 5 or Spooks, and Harry Pierce was the head of 5 while Adam Carter was an the show for a while heading the unit before he died from a car bomb on Remembrance Day.

You can really get into this story, you know? I like your style... and the bit when Fox was defending Alex without knowing he was being oveheard. That was :') heartening.

Honestly my metaphorial boner for this story went right the fuck down when you started blasting that Anna girl for being attractive, and attempting to get laid. Alex is one fine specimen of a man, I'd be going for him too in that situation. Seriously, can we maybe not make this a "Women with a sex drive? BURN THE WITCH!" type story? Please?
