This was amazing and lovely. I only wish I could write that well.

This is a really sweet story - I always love interactions between Joan and God, especially when He's able to give her some comfort, even if no answers. The walk and her being cold was a really nice touch. The braids at the end were really cute - I wonder what her mom will think of them?
About the one thing I noticed was in this line: He doesn’t respond, but she can feel the weight of his stare and knows that this is in deed what he wants. "Indeed" is one word. Besides that, this story is really great! Keep up the wonderful work, and I'm looking forward to reading more from you.

Actually, I still love this show. And I like how you put it.

I liked the story. It's a dramatization of the mysteries that lie at the heart of the Joan universe, including why a sceptical girl was chosen to carry out the divine missions. And the idea of giving a large part of the story to Joan's criticism of God, while letting Him win out, reminds me of Dostoievsky's LEGEND OF THE GRAND INQUISITOR. Just wanted to say that there ARE still fans around.
