Fun tale :-) and aw, but Rodney's got a pet now too :cool: a replacement for his moggie.
Surely the city IA could be taught to be more useful though ? even if it was just a place of temporary sanctury for those in need; it does seem to be the ultimate baby sitter, if slightly manic on the control.

Absolutely brilliant plot. I love group adventures and yours was amazingly written.
I noticed in chapter 2 'They were in grassy patch'. I think the computer may have taken out 'a' when it uploaded or something. I've heard uploading stories sometimes does that, as well as smooshing some words together and double spacing. That kind of stuff. I just thought I'd point it out in case you hadn't seen it.
I love this story so much though. You are definitely one of my favourite authors and I can't wait to read more. -Smiley face-

I agree that a follow-up with McKay and Betty would be interesting. But what about the poor City? It's not its fault it was programmed that way. I know, it sounds pathetic, but I was rooting for the City by the end of it. lol

Yeah, they need to go back for a visit sometime. The possibilities here are so, so wide open.

Getting out of trouble by causing *more* trouble for whoever or whatever put them *into* trouble, seems to have become the modus operandi for SG teams in any galaxy, but starting a full out revolution has to be a new one for Rodney. Quite fun to read, though something like that is actually more Sheppard's style. .~

When Teyla heard Rodney and John 'squabbling' at the end, I could so see Rodney putting on a puppy dog look and going, "Can I keep it?" So, are all the even numbered bots 'female'? I guess that would explain the kind of tasks City had ascribed to them, and therefore why they hated their superior more than the others. *g* I get the feeling Betty will fit right in with Atlantis.

Oh, why did it have to be a 'B' name? Or were those just natural alliterations because he started off with 'Buster'?
