This is such a awesomely creepy story, out of curiosity what happened to Voldemort's Horcrux's? Did Dumbledore find out about them sooner and destroy all of them? this would make a great story if you ever expand on this one-shot. I am interested in how badly the war got in this story and how the Guardians of Light came into being, does harry have a horcrux in his scar? and how would the trio be affected in this darker universe.

If one were going to continue this idea, I think it would be interesting to explore how a backlash might happen if Harry was a Slytherin and gets squibbed.

I'm honestly not sure if you're even still on this site at all, but I wanted to ask this next bit anyway; could I create a full-fledged work based around this one-shot? Not the same thing, mind you, but a similar concept, I suppose.

I'd credit your work in the beginning, and really, I'll try and make the two as dissimilar as possible, barring the abdication of Slytherin House, and possibly the Sorting Hat's utter obliviousness to it.

Oh. My. God! I've never read anything so riveting and simultaneously horrifying... Yet so very believable before... This seems more believable than the original canon version. After all, human nature is that of a vile, cruel and greedily callous spectator. This is so bad it's almost like reality.

Wow. How much better off are they, really, than if Voldemort had won?

What's so bad about being a mundane, again? In fact, wasn't Voldemort's whole deal that he wanted to kill all of the mundanes?
