Reviews for A Little Problem
LaureaDaphne chapter 8 . 6/22/2014
Ahahaha, that was awesome!
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 8 . 5/25/2014
'He struggled not to speculate' - as shall I.

Not knowing the location of Wee Mad Arthur sounds like a bad thing.

I read where they found Vimes, and I just about jumped. How'd he do that? How'd he know it was there and was theirs?

I did wonder toward the end here that the TARDIS just has one shower?

Ah, and there it is: what Donna said coming back to bite her!

Very enjoyable. Everyone seemed well in character, often to the point of me hearing their lines in their voices. *applause!*
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 7 . 5/25/2014
The interaction between Death and the Doctor is priceless!

The Doctor telling Death 'Work harder' made me laugh. So did much else in this story, but this in particular!

I love it that Donna works out how to get out of the cells!

And bless the Doctor's heart - make that both of 'em! I'd forgotten about the other guy in the cells.

And the Doctor's reward...
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 6 . 5/25/2014
I like the comparison of Nobby to a work by Picasso. Yeah, I could see that!

Frying pan-proof hat.

Ah, and there's Arthur's plan...
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 5 . 5/25/2014
I'm with Carrot; I don't know what an Oyster card is either.

Oh dear, Arthur has a plan? That's scary!
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 4 . 5/25/2014
I like Vimes' line of: I woke up this morning thinking the exact same thing.

Ditto for the Doctor's line about viciously attacking someone's boot with his ribs. :-)

Oh, so fighting Wee Mad Arthur is an automatic charge of Attempted Suicide? Yeah, I can see that.

Using psychic paper on Discworld - that's a big oops!

I like the line about an edge in Vimes' voice that hinted at the possibility of future sharpness.

Nobby's supernatural gift for sidling whilst walking forwards - ah, that's our Nobby!

Oh, that redhead behind the desk!
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 3 . 5/25/2014
Yes! Yay for the cricket bat!

The bit about the gobbets of ballistic caramel flying was so good, it made me want to cry.

And when the TARDIS winced, so did I.

As for the line: By asking funny questions? I reply, Stereotypical ones, at least...

I've a feeling Donna's going to regret that promise of a kiss.
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 2 . 5/25/2014
INTO the beer...

Hey, isn't the line about not shouting about it from a limerick?

So... is the line about you and your twin brother foreshadowing?

No doubt the fact that the song is unintelligible is definitely fortunate!

Oh, let's hear it for headbutting in the ankles!

As for the state of the TARDIS at the end of the chapter and the presence of Wee Mad Arthur snoring away atop a teddy bear - that fellow gets about, he does!
The Wild Wild Whovian chapter 1 . 5/25/2014
Stepped in some ambiance! That's so a) Donna, b) Whovian, and c) Pratchettish!

The aside that was a biggie - agreed!

It seems the Doctor might just have a bit of knowledge about Wee Mad Arthur...
Redmage2 chapter 8 . 10/16/2011
This is hysterically funny. I had no idea that Discworld humor would merge with Doctor Who quite so well, but it's absolutely perfect! I loved Vimes in particular! :D
Silvermoon of Forestclan chapter 8 . 10/4/2010
Nice story! Poor Donna...

J-Kid chapter 8 . 10/2/2010
Mwahahaha! That was AWESOME. I enjoyed this very much! :-)
Cactus Wren chapter 8 . 8/27/2009
Dead-on characterizations and positively Pratchettian descriptions ("The gothic bulk of the Assassins’ Guild loomed over them. It was a building superbly constructed for looming...") Faved.
Raynbowz chapter 8 . 2/6/2009
This is an awesome story-it fits the Discworld exactly, and it's fun to see the Doctor and Donna here. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Seileach chapter 8 . 1/24/2009
*cackling with glee* Wonderful! Your use of language is very Pratchett-like, and the Doctor and Donna are perfect-well, so's everybody else too! :D Wish there was more...
