Reviews for Soundwave's Revenge
Agafa Shelly chapter 1 . 10/29/2014
soundwave should've hited an autobot not death would've mattered more to spike and sparkplug than the autobots.
Resident Evil Lionhart chapter 1 . 9/4/2014
Perhaps the real revenge is the loss of the faith and loyalty of one of their human friends...XD
Taipan Kiryu chapter 1 . 11/26/2010
There are very few stories that feature Soundwave’s anger. This one did it just as it had to be; stoic and calculated, but the anger is there, and caused precisely by the one reason that could get to him: a deadly attack to his creations.

I read this and both prequels, every one very in character and a priceless addition to the little amount of stories that catch Soundwave and his Cassettes’ personalities so well. The ‘family photo’ bit was awesome, and so powerful considering what happened next.

This story was a great display of shades of grey. The Autobots are no saints indeed, and they are not as honest as they claim to be, just as the Decepticons are not bloody fiends. Soundwave could have killed Chip easily, but he chose what he considered a fair revenge, fair being the key word. He made his point very clear.

a thought provoking topic, because no matter how good the "good guys," in a war as long as theirs, both sides have probably been bad and done bad things.
lacitar13 chapter 1 . 5/30/2008
Yes! He does deserve to know what the bots did to Rumble, Frenzy, and Laserbeak (trashed and exploded them) to piss off Soundwave so much! Not only that but I hope he gives them a good verbal thrashing! *goes into evil fangirl mode* The bots must pay for what they did to Soundwave's cassettes!

*comes out of evil fangirl mode*

Err great story by the by

Huh. Great story. Makes Soundwave quite creepy. The fact that Chip doesn't ever find out what Soundwave wanted revenge for adds to the eeriness. I like the mental image of the "family photo moment". Poor Chip.

Read a few of your stories, but haven't reviewed before this one. You certainly created a thought provoking story here, especially with the last few lines. Optimus' refusal to answer underlines Soundwave's statements about judging them. No one is innocent in a war, and it is far too easy to take a side without knowing all the facts. The Autobots have likely done as bad as the Decepticons. They just choose to say nothing. Well written.
