| Guest chapter 1 . 4/11/2017
That was really good! Though, I do wish you had added a Ahsoka reference or two (:
| HrinTiyr chapter 1 . 9/23/2016
Ooh, creepy... And wonderfully done.
If I may ask, why oh why is this story marked "Complete"? What happens next?

| Saskatcheran chapter 1 . 11/21/2015
by "former mentor," you refer to Palpatine, right?
| Anne Camp aka Obi-quiet chapter 1 . 11/17/2015
I'd like to say that this is much more desirable...but I would fear that Palpatine had something worse up his sleeve...
| Guest chapter 1 . 11/13/2015
"Anakin skywalker has spent most of his life with the Jedi, but it was fighting with Padme that finally taught him how to forgive."
Got. Dang. This is the line that makes the story. It is so revealing in its simplicity, and so in line with Anakin's personality that I would bet my life this is how it would be if he didn't turn. With the Jedi, he never connected with them personally so he'd never feel compelled to forgive. But he loves HER more than life and he's not prepared to live without her. From that foundation, he HAS to learn how to forgive.
I love this story. But it's this segment and this line that makes it my favorite.

| Ale chapter 1 . 9/28/2015
That was really well written. Palpatine gave me a creepy vibe here too.
It was very well written.
I kinda always assumed Padme would have died in childbirth regardless of the circumstances? I might be wrong.
That said, I like the idea of their married life :) Cute, especially that she was the one who finally taught him how to forgive :)
| Xellina chapter 1 . 8/13/2015
This is just such an amazing story! The relationships between both Anakin and Palpatin and Anakin and PAdme are just so perfect!
| Brievel chapter 1 . 7/16/2015
This ... is - you have to continue this! Please!
| Guest chapter 1 . 9/14/2014
I love how you have palpatine send them the lightsabres saying for my grandchildren that was awesome
| Window Girl chapter 1 . 7/26/2014
I like the way you delve into Anakin and Padme's marriage. I think their delimmas are very realisitic.
| Nightshadow913 chapter 1 . 6/22/2013
I really really love this story, especially the way you had Anakin and Palpatine interact. I've just finished reading Darth Plagueis by James Luceno, and in it Plagueis makes a reference to Palpatine's attachment to Darth Maul blinding him to Maul's near-future death. It only makes sense that, given that Palpatine is not incapable of caring for other people, he would have formed a connection to Anakin, which your story gave a chance to strengthen by having Palpatine locked up for six years.
I know that this is a one-shot, but I'd really like to read a continuation of it, or a prologue (what actually happened to stop Anakin from becoming Vader and Windu from reflecting Palpatine's lightning back in his face?), or Palpatine's point of view of this six-year period, or preferably all three. Is there any chance of you writing any of them, or anything else in this universe, for that matter?
| Kyrara chapter 1 . 4/6/2013
Domdom-doom! My favourite TESB-AU so far. That scene, where Windu (with THREE (!) Jedi masters!) confronts Sidious, only to be just barely able to keep himself alive, but fighting the Sith lord finally to a standstill... and THEN Anakin comes in and everything goes south. THAT scene always frustrates me to no end!
I really wish, they had done... well, what you said: Not killing - executing - Palpatine without a trial, but working together to take him prisoner. Oh, and definitely not turning into any kind of Sith apprentice.
Yeah, I guess thats's why I like this story so much. THe only mistake Anakin does here is continuing to expose himself to Sidious' Mind Screw. Really, you'd think he had learned from past mistakes...
