Yeah, I read this quite a while ago, and I still really really like it. Man, why are there not more sex stories about these two? Okay, so Alfred may not be all that young, but he's described as middle-aged anyway, isn't he? That ain't too bad. I am still quite saddened but your story gave me hope. And heck, you made Alfred the dominant one here, which is awesome. He should be, because he does have more experience than Haplo~ So once again, great job. (psst, you should totally write a sequel maybe, would twenty dollars convince you?)

Oh wow! That was very...um...awkward! It was good though. I like your writing style. You pretty much drew me into this story...and I think you should write fantasy romances like Christine Feehan, have you heard of her? If so, I think you should write stuff like that if you someday decide to become an author. I love Deathgate, and now thanks to you I will not be able to reread it without laughing! Well, it was a nice perverted and awkward story, and I did like it!

Okay...first off, I'm surprised that you have never received any reviews for this story. Secondly, my reaction to the coupling is...eew! However, on a positive note, your story is really well written. I really enjoy reading yaoi stories and although I am not a fan of Haplo and Alfred being together on a sexual basis, your writing style drew me in and I just had to finish the story. Overall, I liked seeing Alfred, who is so meek and bumbling, take control over the situation regarding Haplo, who is independent and strong, putting him at a disadvantage. So, bravo!
