Your story seems great and i think its a brillient beginning i am hopeing for Ron Hermione and Harry to be loyal friends and not betrayers, For me the main question is Snape his reaction hehehe hope he comes in as an parent guardien type or similar . Can't wait to read more.

I wonder where the fanfic-author's believe hails from that long hair is somehow hereditary? In every fic that's either a Severitus or has Harry resembling his mother in more than eyes Harry miraculously has suddenly long hair! *wonders*

In your fic at least it's not suddenly happening within minutes - but I have a really hard time to see Petunia and Vernon "we're desperately normal, middleclass and proper!" Dursley tolerating their nephew having long hair. After all their greatest desire was for Harry NOT to stand out in any way! An 11year old boy with a long mane is exactly the opposite. And incredibly "poncy" as Vernon and Dudley would surely think...

Interesting. It's kind of hard for me to wrap my mind around Harry looking more like his mother than his father. I'm not sure whether someone somewhere has had a similar idea, but if they have I've haven't found it. I wish you luck.
