![]() ![]() Most epic, if also, for the critics, most critic worthy, chapter of the Lars arc. I for one still love it. |
![]() ![]() Likely the single most beautiful chapter of the fic. Near perfection, the feels. |
![]() ![]() Rereading after more than a decade... And what can I say. Overdone, yes, but oh sooo much fun. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I... Can't find any information what so ever on that SCP... |
![]() ![]() ![]() well fuck, now isn't that a plot twist and a half, lmao... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I must say this badly damages the SoD. Ahriman is not just a combat psyker, he's (in books / general lore) the second-in-command of the Thousand Sons and Tzeench's Champion (even if both deity and champion would deny that). given that Tzeench _likes_ and encourages "sink or swim" scenarios, and given the default paranoia of any ranking tzeenchite, I'd expect Ahriman to keep tabs on all primarchs he can, with an extra bit of effort reserved for, obvioulsy, Magnus and Leman. Hence Ahriman being surprised by a "retreating in blind panic" group of Harlekins reads as a giant ooC idiot ball. Ahriman should instantly know that a) they are leading something nasty to him and b) about as instantly have a very short list of people / things the Harlekins could be trawling behind them with the expectancy to provide more than a nuisance to Ahriman's forces. same holds for the curb-stomp delivered to Ahriman's envoy of Thousand Sons. they are crawling the Webways hunting for Harlekins, and routinely so; thus expecting ambushes and "random encounter" set-ups should be second nature to Ahriman's forces by now. and given the history of these particular legions, the Thousand Sons not having developed measures for any future encounters with the Wolves is once again a very ooC idiot ball. |
![]() ![]() While I despise leman russ since the space wolves hh novels, I can't help but wonder how cool this could have become. Such a... NICE setup :) |
![]() ![]() Ah, chapters like these show how far. This. Story. Could. Have. Gone. Alas, it was not to be. Sigh... |
![]() ![]() Probably the most cracky chapter, but dang, I smile every time I read it. |
![]() ![]() Ah, fond memories of that chapter in particar. Still a great read after 11 years... Too bad you abandoned the fic. |
![]() ![]() Still one of my overall favorite chapters. Showing how incredibly stupid the treatment of the prime directive is most of the time. Instead of a useful guideline Ala "only break it if the people in question 2ould suffer greatly otherwise" they have the don't interf3re, ever, c4ap. And are finally being called out for the hypocrites they are. |
![]() ![]() Coming back to your stories after more than 10 years. Still awesome stuff, too bad you vanished back then... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Dear Gods give me more Lars and Skuld! They are freaking awesome. Tearing Faerun a new arsehole. I need more. Please continue this insane piece of literature! |
![]() ![]() ![]() A newborn child, above an animal? Nonsense. Many animals can outdo a five-year-old. |
![]() ![]() ![]() FUCK THE REST OF THE STORY! ON MY FAVORITE LIST DON'T NEED TO KEEP READIND |
