![]() ![]() Just so you know people can have a godmother or godfather or both or more than one of each. I happen to have two godmothers and a godfather. It all depends on what ur parents choose. Also uterly amazing story! I'm in love with ur characters, u develope them so well. I'm hoping to start writing my Sirius o/c in a week or two when I have time. Well keep writing! Oh and by the way I love the quote on ur profile. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was so freaking good. I almost cried. Good job, but I'm wondering what books were in her backpack other than Sunshine? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well...wow. This story was a woozy. Okay. Honestly, I have very mixed feelings about this, but the mixed part is just me being a presumptuous ass. Apparently, the moronic part of me is lamenting and wishing that there was more outright romance and drama-llamas. But no. I shall slap that away and talk sensibly. This is an amazing fanfiction. Even though I have said the romance was not what I had expected, it's what makes this story the better. The romance is subtle, almost tremulous in its hidden tension and I love you for writing it that way. The romance is also very realistic and mature, dealing with human relationships and emotions with words and tone that most writers can't really hope to contain without being overly dramatic. Speaking of tone, the layer of depression and darkness of it all was very consistent and always gave each chapter a sense of heaviness after finishing it. The way you also handled the integration of Kara into the Harry Potter world is very believable as well; most fanfiction writers don’t seem to think that their characters would have a hard time adjusting after falling face forward into a world that should not have existed. Yours did and her denial of her time there was relieving for me to read. Overall, I love the fanfiction. I did not expect Sirius to live and I was waiting for the inevitable crash of Kara’s sanity. Still, there is one tiny quirk that I find uncomfortable: I just wished the ending had tied up some loose ends (like what happened to Sirius and Kara afterwards or who was that voice Kara kept hearing from or what was Sirius’ role after surviving his fatal fate because I doubt he would simply stand by the entire time?). On the other hand, though, perhaps these loose ends are for the reader to figure out…. Ah well. Once again, love this fanfiction to BITS. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I just wanted to tell you how amazing this story was, I've always had a softspot for Sirius stories and have read quite a few good ones, this story was one of the best. I spent most of last night reading it and woke up early this morning to finish it because I was so smitten with this. I laughed, I cried... I really felt connected to the characters you've created. Wonderful job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() No matter how many times I read this, the experience is always the same. It makes me smile, and laugh, feel sad and even cry. The last chapter honestly makes me bawl like a baby in both sadness and happiness. You have a work of art here, and I wish everyone could read it. I have always felt that Sirius had the most unfair life, in that he never had anyone to share the good moments and the sad moment with. You make that little inkling possible, and I'm so happy to be able to read it. I'm attempted my own little humour fic, as well as starting an RP forum in the Marauders' Era. I honestly can't help myself, but to read this story at least once every so often even though I have a perfect memory. Absolutely wonderful work. I can't wait to read more of your stories. I can't even express how much I adore this story, but I think I managed to get most of my feelings across :] Keep up the wonderful work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story was absolutely fantastic! I'm so happy I read this. You really pulled off your Original Character brilliantly-and left us to the details of what she looked like, as well. It was wonderful. And Sirius was spot on! You really are a wonderful writer. I hope to read more of your work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've probably read this story five times in the few months since I found it. I can't remember if I ever reviewed it the first time I read it, but I have to say it is probably one of my favorite stories on here. In fact it may even be my all time favorite. As odd as it sounds, I was glad it didn't end completely happy. I think it takes a lot to end on a bittersweet note and the ending reminded me of everything that comes with war and how things will not just be better immediately after the war is over. I definitely cried during this, but I also laughed and smiled and I just can't come up with enough positive things to say about this one. I also loved the one-shots of this. I definitely look forward to your future writing endeavors, you are a wonderful writer. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Growl! You skipped so much! Great ending. :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love, absolutely love this chapter! |
