it would've been better if Bella and Edward would've known each other for more than an a few weeks or short month. At least a year and maybe they should've been dating so that Bella's actions would be reasonable.

I really and truly enjoyed this story. A lot - so please don't take the following comments personally, as they are meant in reaction to the characters' actions (VERY normal human reactions). In the middle of the story, the kids were talking about what helped them get better. They (mostly) all credited being in a relationship. But that is not a good reason to get better - for someone else. They should want to get better for themselves. Relying on someone else doesn't give you strength, just as Bella found out. - And I DO blame Charlie, a lot, for not being a more active parent when his daughter was so depressed (and being abused). I know that can happen - saw it in my own family - but still doesn't excuse it. And then he goes all parental when Bella is finally happy, because Edward is around too much? Huh.
