| HoneyBee1 chapter 2 . 12/27/2010
Holy... that short fic... I just cried... It's not about they're not ended up together, but the way they CAN'T be together. Argh, that just put pain in my heart.
| SparklingIvy chapter 2 . 11/25/2009
Oh wow, this is heartbreaking but beautiful - I teared up a little. I can picture Veronica regretting being so closed off to Logan - realizing she should have made different choices.
| Raksha-Keller17 chapter 2 . 3/19/2009
My heart was just broke, please do not take Logon away again, lol like ever.
| maipigen chapter 2 . 1/17/2009
...okay...first off...I hate you for writing that horrible horrible ending! ...sigh...*wipes away the tears*...
Loved your Logan btw...sigh, maybe he and Lily could meet up and have a little chat about the afterlife lol...
sigh, really really lovely piece, although I hate to read stories where my beloved Logan dies...
Happy future writing!
| Galaxy451 chapter 2 . 1/5/2009
OMG... that one was a real tearjerker. Cried my eyes out, but loved it anyway.
| SalvaVeritate chapter 1 . 8/19/2008
I've debated on whether or not to critique this story and after a lot of thinking, I've decided it would be best if I did. It's true that we learn from other writers, and it's not a bad thing to try and adopt a certain writer's style. This story, the second chapter aside, has the same structure, the same plot, the same gist as one of my stories. I've reread my own and yours to be certain of it. You even separated it the same way. Section one, the relationship, section two, the separation, section three, the marriage. I was surprised at this. I don't think this is what people mean when they say 'learn from other writers'. Not when everything is the same. While I know you meant no disrespect (at least, I would very much like to think this), I couldn't help but feel disrespected as I read this story, because it was like recognizing my own. Even the voice is the same, only obviously, it's in a different forum. According to the date, this was published two days after Untitled came out, and since you left a review in my story, I don't think it's a coincidence that we had the same everything. It is a different thing to be inspired by a work, and while I think this is the case to some extent, the similarities are too many for me to feel flattered at the possibility of this story just inspiring you. Yes, there was a different ending in the second chapter. I have no qualms about your second chapter. It's the first chapter that bothered me.
As writers, one of the most important things to do is to find your voice. You do this by reading, reading, and reading. It's different when you find your own voice, and trust me, it will show if it's yours. It will also show if it isn't. There will be certain inconsistencies. Being inspired by a story means taking a feeling from it, a concept, a 'What if this happened?' idea. Perhaps it can be likened to a drawing. When you see a drawing and you feel inspired by it, you create a different drawing. You don't take the outline of a drawing and color it differently. If that happened, it's essentially still the same drawing.
One of my stories had the same concept as another writer's, and we both write in Cruel Intentions. But when you read both stories, you will see how different the two are. It's my story Grief and Morgan's porno mouth. It's all right to explore the same concept as long as you differentiate your interpretation of it. I never used the same structure, never tried to make that voice my own. I admire this writer's work, but I don't go and take the form and the plot because I know that I would not be able to do the story justice if I did. I also know that it would be unfair to the other writer if I attempted this.
Thank you for continuously reading my stories, and if you've learned from them, I'm glad. But be careful in writing. In fan fiction, this isn't a big deal since everything is public property. But when you're older and you decide to write your own story, people will undoubtedly be harsher should there be any more incidents like this. They will never look at you the same way again.
As a writer and a person, your reputation's one of the most important things you have to take care of.
Best of luck with your writing.
| I.-heart-.Logan chapter 2 . 8/18/2008

| shelly-veronica-annabelLee chapter 2 . 8/15/2008
OMG it's so beautiful, tears are actually running down my face! oh my gosh it's so well written too, i really like how you've seperated it into sections - again well down - this really is a wonderful piece of writting - yep still crying!
| snafumama chapter 2 . 8/14/2008
Oh my. That was just so beautiful. It took my breath away.
The recurring theme of Logan chasing Veronica and not having the energy was very powerful.
My words are failing me right now. Just know that your story is brilliantly strong and very touching.
| LoVefan4ever chapter 1 . 6/18/2008
Omigod. This killed me dead. Dead... did you hear me? How could you do that to LoVe!
Seriously, this is beautifully written and incredibly heartbreaking. You did a great job despite the lack of happy ending. But we can't have 'em all, can we? LOL
| Jenn6891 chapter 1 . 6/18/2008
that's so sad.
| mallikadhuys chapter 1 . 6/18/2008
I liked it even though LoVe isn't together because it shows that Logan really cares. He's letting her go and letting her be happy even though it's with someone else.
But LoVe still rocks harder! xD
