| PurpleHat chapter 1 . 6/23/2008
Very touching, and completely believable. Apparently most modern soldiers cannot bring themselves to aim directly at their enemy, so Andir's qualms have a ring of truth.
I like the way you portray the enthusiasm, skill and liekability of Andir in so few words. And Faramir too is a sympathetic leader who knows just what to say to a youngster.

Amazing. Such a vivid picture of both men. Lovely. I don't know what else to say - simply lovely.
| Ellynn chapter 1 . 6/18/2008
Beautiful, soft, touching story. :)
