heh. Why is Mycroft behaving as if Sherlock is a dog? I wouldn't have been surprised to see him say "Sit and Heel".

I can see Watson's voices getting louder throughout the case if the man is nearby, but I can't figure out how the whispers started at 221B if that's the case.

Theories:

Agnes was a twin. Watson has Dissociative Identity Disorder("Oh watson, is that you", chapter 9),or Watson's possessed. Or hypnotised (Chap 16). Tom Tobias. Personally I favor the DID theory, as Watson had the strength of a burly man if he could lift Holmes off his feat with one hand o.o.
