![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for updating this. And it is GOOD. You have been a bright point in this awful year. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my. It is nice to see an update to something long silent. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome! Really cool to see how the crossovers are intertwined. Dare I detect some Indiana Jones references? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I must admit, this story was not the one I was expecting an update for next. But it is very much appreciated! And a very nice progression to boot! Although the foreshadowing with the backflash and the faculty members noticing the Jusenkyo curse but not it's full nature... I've got a hunch as to what might happen. But not what might come from it. "Locked" Ranma or maybe, immediately or after some strife (and thus potentially acceptance), one that's actually able to control the change... Honestly can't say at this point as a reader. Pretty sure Avril left the lessons in ki-healing she mentioned somewhere in her present for Ranma. Probably will be a while until he's got the time to actually get into those though. And I wonder if Yūko is thinking of Ranma as an in-law yet. Cause I'd say that's very likely what he or she'll become somewhere along the line. Not to mention that at some point somehow the fiancée brigade will invade London. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love the fact that you've updated this, or anything really! Whenever I see any of your updates I drop everything and start reading, and I definitely wasn't disappointed this time either! Very minor quibbles though. Not sure if the gang met Dumbledore in his office, but if they did then there should have been a gargoyle outside leading into a spiral staircase. Also Trewlawny's classroom is up a ladder into an attic like hatchway. Other than that I couldn't spot anything non-Hogwarty. Really looking forward to what happens next. |
![]() ![]() It has... been a while. Like A WHILE... Hopefully the next chapter arrives before my kid goes to school (aaand... I wasn't even married when the previous one got poster) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Rereading this, as it’s been a bit, reminded me of what I thought when I originally read it. You should write a military sci-fi novel, in the vein of the Honor Harrington books. You write large-scale combat sequences fantastically. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I swear I have read this chapter before. Is it a repost or something? Because there are scenes here that strike my memory bits as too familiar. Like the AI crystal with Avril, and Ranma jumping up the grand staircase, and the fight with the dementor and Hagrids reaction on the train station. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The hell. I've loved your stories for years, but damn. This one got my eyes all watery when Ranma was interacting with the AI of Avril. Not many things get to me, but the way you convey the full impact of what happened and how its left its mark on Ranma is both wonderful and terrible. Much like Ranma's experience. Utterly traumatic, but wonderful in that he made a lasting impact for the better. |
![]() ![]() May thanks to your Patre0ns for giving you the poke your needed to continue this amazing story, I'll be waiting patiently for more when it comes. |
![]() ![]() ![]() good read, just blitzed it today for the last ~7 hours. hope to see some more of this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have loved this story since forever and it's good to see you back. I have often wondered where other time-spanning anime fit into your universe, if at all. I mostly think of Tenchi Muyo and Ah My Goddess. TM has a galactic empire that the Silver Millennium could be a small part of, though they do use trees as a power source, instead of crystals. A single tree can power a battle cruiser and is paired with an operator/captain is noted by facial tatoos. Crystals as a power source was being researched/revived by the genius scientist Washu. As trees for power go, the world tree Ygdrisil can influence a planet and can be tied to an entire civilization of God's and goddesses through, again, facial tatoos. TM authorities once referred to Earth as a colony planet. Anyway both are worth a watch and just an idea to throw out to you. One other idea I could never fit into a story, have you ever played Dead or Alive? The character Kasumi is a dead ringer for Kasumi Tendo, even down to their personality. Worse DOA Kasumi has been known to hunt down her own clones, but Kasumi Tendo is a year older. Hmmm. So we have a rogue ninja organization with cloning technology in the mix. One last clincher, DOA Kasumi has a sister, Ayami, who bears a striking resemblance to Nabiki Tendo and even has the same mercenary attitude. Hmmm. Anyway, I'm not much of a writer and I always wanted to see these ideas used. ...or not. I shouldn't mess with a good story. Hope to see you again soon... or at least, eventually. Love it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() well nice to read from you again. anyway great chapter |
![]() ![]() ![]() Doesn't really seem likely that Voldemort and Millennium are working together. Not only are they from two different times(WWII and the 60's and 70's), but they also walk in different areas(Millennium are in South America and at most some infiltration of the UK and US's muggle governments, maybe some of the wizarding governments via their old Grindelwald contacts but you'd think they'd have an easier time detecting vampires). And not to mention completely different end goals. Millennium's only real "objective" right now is a death and glory ride into Valhalla, one so "grand" that they will never be forgotten again by taking down Alucard(everything Millennium does in Hellsing is based around that goal. From the moment they sent the Valentine brothers in, the Major had Hellsing and Allucard dancing to his tune, every move they made was one the Major wanted them to make. Even their attacking of London and slaughtering of it's inhabitants was for the sole purpose of pressuring Integra to using the Zero Release upon Alucard's return and "preparing" the battlefield for their gambit with Schrodinger). Even ignoring the fact that Voldemort's still a bodiless wraith no supporters right now(and thus no way to contribute anything), Voldemort's end goals most definitely don't include committing suicide via a glorious kamikaze attack run at his arch enemy. The fact that both are causing trouble right now is at best a terrible coincidence rather then signs of collaboration. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Krista Perry, now you... If Mark MacKinnon to continue his and the end would be nigh. Also, when I moved one of my fics forward after 13 months, one reader commended with incredulous "Author, so you are alive?" His surprise is *nothing* next to mine. Glad to see this continued. Had to re-read from the start to remember who is who. |
