Oh but you've got another winner here, Oz! I could *see* every moment of that fight, it was so well done.

A few things: (just 'cause I can get really nitty at times - just ask any of the people I've beta'd for in the past) "barycenter" is another term describing what are also probably more commonly known as Lagrange points. But maybe I watch too much Gundam Wing...

Grammar / punctuation - you've got commas separating Setsuna and Akane's names when you put their clan name first (which shouldn't be there, you don't do that on other chars) - but you also script out Setsuna's name (and some other chars as well) in the full Western format - as Setsuna Meiou. Yeah, grammar-Japangrish Nazi-type here. It's a little jarring for this reader to go back and forth.

Finally: Setsuna vs Ranma in a one-on-one battle. I completely agree with your Ranma-should-win with one exception - Setsuna has one thing that would trump Ranma. Her Senshi powers. Sure, if the fight was protracted enough Ranma might be able to pull a saving move but the ability boost granted by those powers just might faceplant him before he can fully adapt.

And let's not even get into the advantage of the Key staff...

But the obligatory first posting nits aside, hot damn! but I can't wait to see the next chapter! Sadly, I shall have to re-descend to my standard lurker level and wait. But, oh, the anticipation!

Oh yeah! Love that smack on Akane. Entrance exam indeed! Especially for a martial arts scholarship!
