Really powerful. I love that you didn't shy away from the darkness in these two (especially because that's a big part of the reason they work together). Great characterization - fascinating take on their relationship, especially with the parallels you drew between them. Really lovely imagery, too. It's on the faves list. :)
Thanks so much for writing and sharing!

"Logan wonders what he tastes like. Probably death and just a little bit like rock star." laughing my ass off with this sentence. The idea that Neptune is the very cause of their "disfunctionality" is interesting, also you managed to wrote an un-cheesy cliché, kudos.
| SeleneHarker chapter 1 . 6/21/2011
Loved the fact that all the blame goes to Neptune, fucking town.
But seriously you have such a way with words, your narration is so fluid and engaging and your use of POV's feels so right.
Congrats, this is a great one-shot.

Leave Neptune! It's like a graveyard for them all. They might make it if they run away, sigh. So profoundly sad and lonely and bittersweet.
| HoneyBee1 chapter 1 . 12/8/2010
Sigh... these two... they're together... they're not together... but we like them just the way they are.

I like this fic. You have a way of saying a lot by not saying much. It's a compliment. You show all the emotions crashing on L & V. Their past problems, their present confusion and issue and their future dreams. They are more life weary than they have a right to be at their ages and you were able to show that in the story. Thank you for sharint it

this was so beautiful and in character..love it
| spinningleaves chapter 1 . 5/4/2009
LOVE IT! Strong, strong image. From the unique ideas like Logan's arm on her feeling like freedom, or the description of the ocean right afterwards. Excellent use of imagery to really drive home the bursting desperation and tangled emotions.

This is probably my favorite veronica mars story ever. I keep coming back to it over and over and over again. I think you've captured it. And its amazing.
| Galaxy451 chapter 1 . 12/4/2008
Argh! Infuriating, exasperating, and truly maddening! So very reminiscent of Logan and Veronica's relationship throughout the series. Loved it!
| MayGirl85 chapter 1 . 11/13/2008
I liked this story. The exploration of their feelings through poetic literary devices and surroundings was very well done. I think you captured the really effed up side of these two characters quite wonderfully.
