All Harry has to do to fix the stupid lasw is leave the UK.
Harry & Hermione leave the UK and let it be known that Harry will not return untill all the stupid laws are changed and no more stupid ones will become law.

Excellent work, looking forward to more!
| Memory King chapter 5 . 8/17/2008
Interesting, but I think someone should have interrupted the rant. Made for nice reading, though.
| Memory King chapter 3 . 8/17/2008
Brilliant stuff, would have liked to see Voldemort's expression once he realises that his plan failed.
| Memory King chapter 2 . 8/17/2008
How did Wormtail get away in this version, and why does Harry feel guilty for that?
Besides this, excellent effort.
| Memory King chapter 1 . 8/17/2008
Wasn't expecting much, but this was surprisingly entertaining. Hope the rest of this lives up to my expectations. Great work!

i LOVE this :D
| Kage Koutetsu Yume chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
Yay, Sirius is alive! Awesome chapter of Muggle logic! 'glared at him for thinking like a WIZARD' I laughed at that!
| Rachel A. Prongs chapter 2 . 8/17/2008
"Molly Weasley. Yes, I realize that not liking one of the Weasley’s (other than Percy, who I actually DO like) is usually considered blasphemy, but she annoys me to no end. Granted, it’s mostly just her being overprotective as a result of her brothers’ deaths and trying to be a good mother, but she is NOT Harry’s mother. Granted he may appreciate her trying, but when she starts treating him like he’s a helpless and withholds key information, such as the fact that a Mass Murderer is after him. And honestly? That was a stupid plan. He might not need to know the whole ‘responsible for your parents deaths’ thing, but he deserved to know that someone was trying to kill him. And trying to keep Ron, Hermione, and Harry (all of whom were legal adults) from saving the world when being at The Burrow wasn’t safe either was irritating. Believing a tabloid magazine over a girl she knows is close friends with her son is just stupid. Didn’t she learn anything from Gilderoy Lockhart?"
I just had to comment before going on: I *totally* agree. I don't mind the OBHWF but the second Molly Weasly starts looking smug about it (though it's completely normal for mothers to be pleased about their children being happy) I tend to find the small cross mark up in the right corner of my screen.
She's the epitome of protective, overbearing, smothering mother.
| VampireApple chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
True. I don't think even Remus could have kept Sirius alive after Sirius turned 50. He wants to take too many risks. Very funny, and I agree.
| Arae Arca chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
That is DEFINITELY what should have happened. Excellent work. :D
| Ishtar1958 chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
Love it! The little digressions are the best part. Just FYI, though, Harry never even opened the package Sirius gave him at Christmas and didn't know it was a mirror until it was too late. So in this scene he wouldn't suddenly remember the mirror. But you could have him remember "The package! The one Sirius gave me to use if I needed him!" and then go off to get it.
| duj chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
If Harry was at all logical, he wouldn't keep standing around arguing when there are things that need doing pronto. Like finding out of Sirius needs rescuing. Love the happy ending of the chapter though.
“You let Fred and George do it..”
Actually, Hermione didn't. It was Harry's decision, and since he refused to listen to her protests, what could she do to stop him? Telling teachers or obstructing them in any way was not an option, as it would only have *ensured* their punishment (which she presumably wanted to avoid).
| Jarno chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
Hmm, didn't Harry found said mirror after Sirius got killed? I am reasonably certain of it.
If so then that would mean this logic sense wouldn't work as he wouldn't know he could contact Sirius that way. Also, you're depending on Luna knowing that memory orbs are in the department of mysteries and how they work. But how would she know?
I think there are a bit to many assumptions for it to be a good 'logic' chapter.
| Fibinaci chapter 6 . 8/17/2008
I was glad you mentioned Hermione not writing him all summer as he stewed over Cedric's death. That was one of the first OOCy things that JKR had her do on the way to putting her with Ron. I loved how the wizarding person with the most sense seems to be Luna.
