Man, do you ever have a knack for crafting compelling story setups that leave readers (i.e. me) eager for more...only to have them not proceed any further. Sigh. Boiled Nyaniichuan, Son Turned Daughter, Misshapen Destiny, Ranma Ranma, Ai no senshi Wild Honey, Shattered Dreams...all had a ton of potential. Alas. If you ever choose to revisit any of those, I'll be first in line to read them (figuratively speaking, at any rate)!

Nice little story you've started here. It's rare to see a Ranma-locked fic where everyone actually behaves in character and that *gasp* has a surprisingly original plot!

I like your little backstory between the Musk and the Nichieju. It's interesting and doesn't contradict canon, and using the kettle as a cure for Ranma's condition certainly sounds plausible.

It's also nice to see there are authors out there that will admit that Genma actually cares for Ranma and can be clever occasionally. I hope you don't ham up the "Genma is extremely sexist" fanon for drama - Ranma is a tad sexist (though he's perfectly willing to fight a girl as a girl) but there's no evidence anywhere in the manga that Genma shares this belief.

All in all, excellent writing quality and a promising start. I'm keeping my eye on this fic, I hope you update soon!
