Please don’t ever give up on this fic, it is the most incredible story on this site that I’ve ever found, your writing is flawless, okay? Let me reiterate: Flawless! I feel like you’re probably a perfectionist (which is completely fine and well and good, I’m one too) so I can appreciate it takes time, especially when your writing is on this master level. Seriously, you need to become a published author, I honestly think you could be one of the greats! People would make films and TV shows about your works, I’m telling you. You are fabulous! Don’t ever give up, you have so much to offer

Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with us all. Even in its current state Midnight is riveting, haunting, the characters nothing less than glorious and the plot (deservingly) legendary. I’ve seen this on rec lists labeled the greatest Dramione of all time/one of the greatest HP fanfics of all time and I’m inclined to agree with either, or at the very least to designate you the greatest writer in fandom :) You would make a most talented writer, irl.

You’ve done a justice for these characters that I feel Rowling herself would appreciate, nevermind us greedy fans. I want to add, too, that I’ve a particular soft spot for your Luna and, strangely, Blaise (as he’s not a favorite of mine) but they are all truly, truly amazing (Neville, Ron, wow Ernie, etc.). And your Bellatrix is, astoundingly, unique for someone who is cliched practically beyond the point of no return in fandom.

I wouldn’t rush you to complete this, even if it (gasp, yes) takes another few years. I only hope that the enjoyment you clearly derive in writing Midnight equates to more of it. Please also don’t feel obligated to pen a response as I’m not seeking one; my only purpose in reviewing is attained through my praise of your work.

I'm in awe at how you've managed to make a story written over the course of a decade have the same tone, atmosphere and intensity. Truly, it amazes me how the level of maturity has remained the same over that large course of time- do not take that as an insult because it is definitely not one. It's just that one can usually see how a writer grows through their writing and how life affects their work. It's like you started out matured... It really is remarkable.
And now I see that you have last updated two years ago and I sincerely hope you are still living and able because I selfishly want to know what more you had percolating in your mind.

I truly hope you will pick this back up, as it is superbly written. In my opinion, your writing style surpasses that of J.K. herself. I would love to see more from you. In a sea of poorly written fanfiction, this is a true work of art.

I hope you bring this back to life someday. It is as eloquent as it is thoughtful, chockful of rich vocabulary and flawless character development. It is truly the pinnacle of quality writing and the example I always use when hoping to inspire others.

I just found this fic yesterday and I haven't been able to stop reading. I love the premise of it and how the characters are fleshed out and have flaws, they are shaped by their experiences of this war. I am fully hooked on this and will patiently wait for you to update. :)

I was following you back when this was posted on LJ; I looked you up because the LJ I don't post on anymore reminded me of your birthday and remembered vividly what an excellent story this is. So I just wanted to say happy birthday, and that even if there's only ever one more chapter that I haven't read, I shall be rereading this in order to arrive at and fully savour that chapter :)

I am so invested in this story. I've literally grown with it, and to this day, I am still as obsessed as I was when I read that first chapter for the first time. Your writing is pretty much flawless, it's poetic, and I am in constant awe.

Also the creativity and imagination to come up with a tight woven super interesting plot, and still give your characters so much depth, and still tell your story at the perfect pace, and still keep us guessing, and wanting more, and I... I just don't know how you do it.

You are amazing! And that's why I'm not rushing you (ha!) Cos obviously I understand to craft something as wonderful as this fic takes time. And obviously real life can be chaotic af, especially around this time of year it seems... for me anyway lol
