| anonymous chapter 1 . 9/10/2008
wow. where's the poetic vocab? i'm seeing things about a goddess and the sea and the sun on the water and i feel like gagging. these are descriptions used by beginners. there are no mysteries in this poem or anything that makes me go "oh, ah". this is very boring and dull. the idea is also very unoriginal. try again.

The first part is lovely and obvious, but the rest makes you stop and think.
You convey a lot of story in a short poem, and the fact that Elizabeth is still waiting at the end is a powerful reminder of how long ten years is an how determined she is to remain devoted.
