| Mademoiselle Anime Amour chapter 18 . 6/30/2013
Hm...I think somewhere in this chapter, there's a little foreshadowing of some serious drama. Once the full details of that Riku/Roxas feud are explained, things are going to seriously blow up. That should be interesting on the angst side of things.
I love this AU version of Axel. Him wearing metalhead gear totally suits him. Not to mention he's chatty whereas Roxas is relatively closed-off, and that fits canon nicely.
One more thing: I really like how dialogue is written in this story, it just feels very natural and flows well.
Looking forward to reading more chapters.

Oh wow, this fic has definitely become one of my all-time favourites! :) I felt so much for all of the characters - you did such a great job in writing them. I loved the 90's setting too.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading, but I'm glad I kept going. (Although, I was pretty much hooked after the first couple of chapters. ;) )
I enjoyed this story so much I actually recommended it to a friend who doesn't know anything about Kingdom Hearts. The writing and characterisation were just so good.
I'll definitely have to give this fic a re-read at some point and write another review for it that does it justice.

I enjoyed this chapter. For one, because I really like reading character-building flashbacks. For another, there were some very powerful moments here. Especially that brief exchange between Sora and Leon there at the end. And even though it's AU, I was impressed with how in-character Leon was. He doesn't say much, but your descriptions of his looks and mannerisms fit the moment perfectly. I'd say Leon probably changed for the better too after that very short talk with Sora. Great story, I'm really liking it.

Great story so far! And I love that it takes place in the 90s-hard to beat the 90s, that's for sure. I really like the fairly realistic dialogue and situations in this story and that they're told in such an interesting way. Really enjoying it. Sora is simply adorable in this, and I look forward to reading about his date with Riku.

This fic is perfectly marvelous! It really brought back a lot of memories of being a teenager in the 90's (especially the bit about fighting on who gets the phone *LOL* oh man those days :DDD )
I love the relationships you wove between the three main characters, as well as with the other characters surrounding them. The story you've written is poignant and beautiful, heartwrenching as well as toe-curlingly delightful, and it really made me fall in love with Riku and Roxas, and most especially Sora.
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful writing :)

I'm late to the party, but I've enjoyed the ride anyways.
This beautiful story has been the only thing I've been reading for the past three days.
That is a rare occurrence. Usually I juggle three online stories and one paperback. Rarely ever is something so good that I put everything else on hold. I gotta say, nit once did I regret it.
I, damn, where do I start? This—this story is great. I would actually pay to read it. I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate this. It's wonderfully crafted, with a strong background, strong story, and dynamic characters, and it's all carried by a wonderful narrator. :)
I love the little things about this. The running themes ("PDA no way!" "Get a room!") and how they aren't forgotten and even built on ("PDA no-whoa." "Get a roo-holy shit." and,
"The world ended on a..."). And there's a bunch of other stuff that I could gush about, but I'm slightly delirious with sickness soyeahlater. (And having this to read mitigated being so terribly sick.)
Urg I didn't want this to end. I wanted MOAR, and not in the bad way. What have you done to me. I can't handle it ):
One big aspect of this story that I really appreciate is the setting. I was a young kid in the 90s. I would have been around two while this story is going on, so a lot of references were lost on me, ha. I stopped to do some research (Even on thermals!) and, the more I learned, the more I cane to appreciate this. You can tell this was written by someone who's very knowledgeable of the setting they've placed their characters in. That someone also owned the characters and made them special in a very specific way.
You've touched my heart with this story, you really have. I'll definitely be coming back for a second read. I would love to see more out of this verse, but at the same time, I think that'd take away from its standing, for want of a better word.
I'm new to you, but you've definitely gained a reader out of,me. Don't ever, ever, ever stop writing.

Sora playing ''boys don't cry'' by the Cure at that moment was too clever and perfect. This whole fanfic is way too clever and perfect.
It's the second time that I read this and it still delights me so much. I love the 90s nostalgy, the tiniest details, the glitter and the grunge, the chapter names. I love how true this is, how real this feels. I adore the characteristics you've given to Roxas, Sora, Riku, to Everyone and the thoughts that go trough their heads. How this fanfic isn't just about finding love, it's about prejudices and peer pressure and how honest you can be with your emotions.
The setting and location (high-school/college) is real and the coming-of-age take on this is perfect. This feels so relatable, so REAL, and what comes to figuring out one's sexuality this fanfic is very true and realistic. It's the ultimate soriku fanfic but it's also so much more than just a soriku fanfic. This is just so DAMN GOOD.
Thanks for keeping it real, pure and lovely.
I doubt that I can thank you enough for this, love xxxx.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing reading this story has been. Your writing style is so beautiful and impactful, and you have such a way with words and metaphors that it makes me smile like mad. I'm so happy to have finally found a writer who can give me physical chills and make my gut twist with their words alone.
Aside from that, I feel like the story itself is so important and needs to be read by so many more people. I actually took time at several parts in the story to just look back and think about my perception of my life-I felt like your use of "fake" and "ownership" in general were so raw and personal that they seemed to be applying directly to my own life. This is not just some fan fiction on a website about boys in love. This is a story with so much meaning that can be applied to almost everyone, the ideas of growing up and finding yourself as a person.
I really feel like I should thank you for writing this. This story has had more impact for me than I could have ever fathomed.

good would have liked penetration with Sora and Riku
| DreamingOfSasuNaru chapter 26 . 5/11/2013
I'm just speechless. The ending gave me chills. This story was perfect, absolutely perfect. There was not a single thing that I didn't like. I didn't even mind that Riku and Sora didn't go all the way because if they did, it would seem like like they did it just for the heck of there being one lemon in the story. Everything was tied together in the end. I love how Roxas coming in through the door was enough to tell Axel that he is now going to be open about his sexuality. It's something that people wouldn't understand unless they knew that Roxas always used the window so that people wouldn't see. I also loved that Riku and Roxas kissed. It was somehow appropriate even though they were both already in relationships with someone else. It was the only way and the perfect way for closure between theme. You built this story perfectly, all the little phrases and lines in the beginning held great meaning at the end. It's like everything you wrote about held a purpose. They weren't simply ladybugs, they represented something so much more. Owning it or fighting it, a line that was established at the very beginning became prevalent through out the story. What's real and what's fake, the difference between being a man, and a boy. Ah the summary really does summarize this entire story. It's absolutely amazing. The second best story I have ever read in my entire life. I knew from the very first chapter that this was love at first sight. I know that this will not be my only time reading this story. I love it so, so much. Thank you from the deepest parts of my heart for writing this. You are truly so talented. I hope to read more from you one day. And this story should seriously be a real novel. it's that fucking good. I could go on and on about how much I love this story but no amont of words would be enough to tell you how great this story is. Like honestly. Amazing. Just amazing...
| DreamingOfSasuNaru chapter 25 . 5/11/2013
OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE SORA WAS THE ONE WHO WROTE THE TAG! I can see why he did it but it was still a little drastic. I feel so bad for Roxas, he really is going through emotional turmoil that many closeted teenage boys go through...but you really portray his emotions perfectly. I'm so sad that there's only one chapter left because I really enjoyed this story so so much. I've just been reading it for hours straight and it's strange that it's almost over. I love the Sora's speech about being an adult means to take responsibility and owning it. It parallels the beginning of what Riku told him and what Riku's dad told Riku. And I also liked the part where Sora said that growing up only happens once and we should cherish it because it's so true...so many things in this story apply to anyone and everyone. Although this is only fiction, there's a lot that can be learned. This story truly is special.
| DreamingOfSasuNaru chapter 24 . 5/11/2013
AHHH yesss finally! The mystery that you built for 23 chapters is finally revealed! You really built the suspense so well. There were so many hints revealed through out the chapters but there was still a bunch of puzzle pieces missing. Now everything makes sense! oh gosh, I can't believe Selphie did that. I was wondering why she told Riku "I'm so sorry" all those chapters ago or what Axel was talking about with the brunette that shrieked. Oh my, poor Riku...and poor Roxas! In a sense, it's crazy how a misunderstanding that huge could occur. But it totally made sense they way you wrote it. Gosh, you're a genius
| DreamingOfSasuNaru chapter 23 . 5/11/2013
whoaaaaa this chapter was sooooooooo intense. Oh my goodness, so crazy. I can't believe Roxas and Riku got so heated and i was even more shocked when Sora was so mean and mad! But he had every right to be. But it was still so shocking that it seemed like he broke up with Riku AND he kicked Roxas out as his roommate! Like holy canoly. But finally, the mystery of what happened is gonna be revealed! Omgosh, you really had this whole story planned out from the beginning didn't you? everything just falls into place perfectly in this story
