Wow! This story is amazing! The emotion is so raw, so powerfully felt throughout, I kinda felt as if I was feeling them for myself. Sam's anguish, Dean's betrayal. Just wow. Absolutely stunning work.
Also, I'm so so so glad Dean's not a demon. He's kinda frightening when he's that enraged. You know he must of been through absolute HELL to believe the lies those demons spewed about Sam. No one knows Sam better than Dean after all so it gives you a kind of idea just what they must of done to convince him.
So glad the boys are reconnecting at the end. And that the amulet was recovered. The whole time while reading, I was hoping Sam had the amulet on him because it would be the only thing to stop Dean in his tracks. So glad he did!
Once again. AMAZING story! I loved it! :)

Well Holy Crap this is a happy little tale! I sure hope things go a little bette in the second chapter. It's very well written but really depressing!

Wow. This was such a fantastic but heart-wrenching story. A great read from beginning to end. I was hoping that Dean would come back to his brother! Thanks for such a fantastic story.

Well, prescient about Ruby in Sam's pants.
I'm not sure I get why Sam's immune to what a demon would do to him, but the sigils that block his powers are an inspired touch. Very cool.
Dean torturing Sam makes me think of physical pain to mirror the emotional pain Sam's already experiencing. I hope it's not Dean, or that it's a fixable (exorcisable?) one. But it's hard to read no matter what.
Love the line: "He’d failed Dean in the most fundamental and egregious way possible: he’d outlived him." Pointed and pitiful.
Oh, God, that final push was horrible. Seriously, you're a sadist!
I hate that this is the real Dean after all, just twisted and dark.
I like "Kid's made out of leather." And "Marines." Deacon does rock. Sad that I'm enjoying the bit players more than the main attraction, though. Darn you.
Very neat, the amulet as a brainwashing tool. I love the symbolism there.
And Sam singing. Great way to get through Dean's rage.
Oh, man, that's powerful stuff. I might have to forgive you, because when Dean realizes what he's done, that's pretty awesome.
And it's...very, very nice after. Not sure it's worth all the pain, but I guess having Dean back covers a multitude of sins for Sam. I'm sure he would've willingly gone through all this if he'd known he'd get his brother in return. I love the gentleness and uncertainty of it. The method acting part threw me a little-what an odd conversation!-but I'd like to think it is a start and they really will heal after this.
Man, what a rollercoaster. I'm glad I wasn't reading it as a WIP or I would've been knocking your door down to finish. But nice job. Painful, but nice.

The story plays on our lower instincts, but it plays well.
(mistakes in grammar are here because of my poor english, not young age).
I sure liked Dean going all vengeful and angry demon. Was bit dissapointed about his not being demon at all. Would have expected some "now I can't step over salt, can get minor burns by holy water, but somehow I'm still not totally transmuted, have conscience and memories and feelings - and what the hell am I supposed to do now? O'brother-who-I-tortured, will you send me back to hell?"-situations.
Guilty Sam yielding to Dean's anger - aw. Guilty Dean hurting about his doings - aw.
Those sweet lower instincts...!
It's not so much a good story but it is impressive. It works.
Made me want to write a review, even.
I guess I'll read the first part too.
awful hellish memories... aw! low pleasure, but sure pleasure.

Glad to hear Dean hadn't really gone demon. And that the amulet got through to him that Sam hadn't betrayed him. Howe did Bobby and co react to Dean being back? Good work!

Thanks for the continuation! I just love limp!sam. It felt a little rushed at the end though. Cannot wait for your next story.. You should really write Kripke & see if you can get hired as a writer ;- )

Well I read the first part of this mini 'series' and loved it. Read both chapters to this one - loved it also. lol. Nice take on what would (or could) happen when that 'bomb' inside Sam goes off. I loved your take on a Sam who's trying to 'deal'. Very believable considering what we've seen thus far on the show. As for this story, it was quite a joy to read. Really sad that Dean didn't 'trust' Sam, or believe in him, sort of speak, but glad he came around in the end. (and very nice touch on having Sam sing 'Dead or Alive'. Gosh, how sad :( ) And who doesn't love a little guilty!Dean? ;) Awesome. Can't wait to read more of your stuff!

This was awesome! I have to admit, I had my doubts as to whether you could plausibly pull the boys out of the very deep hole you'd put them in, but you did so, and very well. They're still kind of a mess, but there's a lot of hope for the future. I don't think I could've taken a dead depressing ending, no matter how well-written!

Your story was absolutely brilliant! I was actually crying when Dean found the amulet and I don't cry often. Again, brilliant story!
