Aw, cute. Pure, simple easiness-just what this pair needs.

I really enjoyed this. You've handled the difficult subjects very well and its brilliant. Awesome.

Wow, wonderful - I am so glad I found your link to this story on the AD/MM-Fanpage. I held my breath and just succeeded not to shed tears...that is the best kind of story for me :-). Thanks!

Wow. I know I sound highly unintelligent saying such, but wow. No wonder Minerva has done the things she did... Oh, the way you caused the MMAD-ness to occur was so sweet. Dumbledore as Minerva's Comforter and Vanquisher has got to be the best part of the fluff... But this held hardly any fluff, besides Albus's attraction to her, (which was quite cute, if I may say). I normally avoid fictions which depict such terrible elements, but with this, I could not resist. You have a distinctive way with words, and I just love it! Not only do you write the romance well, you wrote the darkness well also! Oh, I am attempting to write my own fic with some dark elements, and I can assure you that I hope with all of my deepest hopes that it will be as good as this! (What a vain hope. My writing pales in comparison... ])

I like the whole idea about her past and the way you let Albus be the perfect gentleman!
God bless you!
| dmf1984 chapter 8 . 7/29/2008
Awesome ending: the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference!
I love the House-elf name you've given; it can be interpreted in so many fun (different) ways.
| dmf1984 chapter 7 . 7/29/2008
Somehow, the idea that Minerva's animagus transformation was self-taught, and that it brought her a sense of "freedom" is absolutely, positively believable. She had nothing to lose, and everything to gain in the end.
Plus, I like cats, and am the primary staff-person to three of them.
| dmf1984 chapter 6 . 7/29/2008
"Rapier": I didn't see that one coming (he must be quite old by now).
Not many nicknames for "Phoenix" are there? I immediately thought of a car, sorry about that.
| dhawthorne chapter 8 . 7/29/2008
I absolutely LOVED this story - you did a fantastic job portraying Minerva's fear of her father and Albus's feelings of guilt. Great job!
| dmf1984 chapter 5 . 7/29/2008
This "Rapier" guy is so gonna be in trouble when Albus finds out what Minerva's PTSD is all about, isn't he? Poppy probably has a few tricks up her sleeves as well, regarding the injury this dude is gonna get. Oh my.
| dmf1984 chapter 4 . 7/29/2008
It'll be interesting to know what those wee missing bits and blank spots are.
| dmf1984 chapter 3 . 7/29/2008
Good man, Albus. Find something she likes to do, and make her comfortable enough to be friends FIRST.
Good idea, Minerva. Quietly notice what he likes too.
| dmf1984 chapter 2 . 7/29/2008
Very believable given what I know about military families and the kids that must uproot quite often (I did not grow up as a travelling "Navy brat", but I sure know plenty of 'em).
Poor Minerva. That's pretty much alone-ness.

OK, sign me up for one first-class ticket to see how this ride turns out! When you give your Muse room to run, she's pretty darn good, isn't she?
I'm off to read the next chapter now, in fact. Color me hooked.
