I feel for Riley. I have slightly crippling fear of hospitals too. Though mine is totally irrational, whereas his is completely justified and beautifully angsty. Love it. :)

Great story. :) I can just picture them all. Their expressions and voices and everything. So well done on that! 'Course getting pneumonia like that is fanfic convienient but hey - it's way more common in that world! ;) Thought Reily's story was really sad. Was it mentioned in the films at all? Or did you make it up completely? I think it would be terrifying to be in a situation like that. Wish people would drive better on the roads! Going to look at your other stories now. :)

Oooh, this was a good read... But I think your latest is bettah. Which is great news for you, cause that means you're improving!

One thing I've noticed: you seem to like putting Riley and Ben through painful and emotional scenarios. XD

But suddenly, after reading your stories, you've made me a Riley fan. I mean, sure, I liked him when I saw the movies, but not enough to put him in the not-so-exclusive group that constitutes my favorite characters. I think he's made it now!

Also, you described the horror of not being able to breathe, or rather, seeing someone you care about being unable to breathe very vividly and well. I've sort of been in that situation myself, because my sister has severe asthma and she would have stress-induced attacks. She wouldn't get quite to the point where she couldn't breathe at all, but it was a pretty terrifying ordeal, and it scared me too.

My only suggestion for your future writing is that you follow your muse, since doing that has already caused you to write some very good stories. ;)
