Honestly, it was wonderful and i know you say you will be moving out of fanfiction, but truly your sesshomaru and kagome stories will be missed! i wish i could have these in actual book format to put on my shelf and re-read when needed 3 i wish you the best and dont give up on writing! please continue, and when youre out and about out there writing novels, update your site and let us know! you bet i want to continue to read your stories!

I have just read your 24 chapter and reading that you want to start your own novel just brings so much excitement to me I have been reading this story for 3 days! Finding time in between work and being a busy mom of 3 and all is have done these past few days is talk about this story to everyone! Well really your writing style when I tell them about this story it’s not the story I’m telling them about because there not big into anime or fan fiction at that but it’s how I have loved reading the way you write the way you describe this so perfectly the way you capture your charters personalities to match yes what they were in Inuyasha but have transformed them into these whole new characters I told someone that she could do this whole story without it based and Beginning from Inuyasha it could be it’s own story on its own and I would read that I would follow her stories her career as a writer I would just like to say I have loved your story it has made the past couple days has really eased the stress around me away I hope you pursue your writhing career to what you truly want it to be ️

dear god, I read this story like 7 years ago, and was so upset it wasn't finished. so happy with the whole thing, one of the best Inuyasha fics ever IMO

Wow, I don’t have enough words to express how wonderful this story is or to express things that you didn’t heard already but I will still say it, is beautiful and so full of emotion at every page, one of the best stories written.
I am new here but I appreciate a lot the dedication that you had for twelve years to create this masterpiece.

This is an absolutely beautiful story filled with love heartbeat, terror and trials. The ending is perfect and the journey is amazing and well written. I can see this story being an amazing book. Since Kagome and Sesshomaru are not longer cursed would that mean they could have children since they are back to ageing. Since Sesshomaru grew his hair out. Tbh I would love to see a sequel where they just live their lives happy.

I was rereading this as I do with favorite stories of mine sometimes, but I actually was completely unaware that you had finished this. I was super shocked and happy to see the newest chapters because my flighty brain I guess didn’t pay attention to the update date change. Oops!

I actually reviewed this story many years ago after your last update before the hiatus and I told you how much I loved this work of art. You replied to my review from long ago and it left me feeling very chuffed and I always knew that you would finish this one day for some reason. Thanks global pandemic… I guess?

I think this is your best fanfic honestly. I enjoyed how frustratingly slow you took it and how imperfect (and often riddled with self-denial) their path to their bond was. The trials and tribulations they experienced along the way is what makes what they have so much more potent and irreplaceable, as you can even tell when they’re courting/in a relationship with other people. Diversions don’t stop fate, they merely act as a push towards it in this story.

First and foremost, sincerest gratitude for your sprawling and mighty epic. It is beyond words to try and review or share any kind of thought for 12 years of your deeply personal tome. Even more thanks for finishing the story. I see the last update was Dec 2020 and that alone brought me great joy and relief.

I admit I was one of those who followed the Inuyasha (English) series and movies for those years when it aired and furthered by following the Sess x Kag fandom fan fiction that so well captured the enigmatic, mysterious and unfulfilled daiyoukai character and all the many possibilities and alternate storylines.

I stopped reading these incredible fanfic pieces for whatever reason for some years, guess time and life. But 2 months ago I heard about Yashahime and when I heard the fate they had in store for Sesshomaru (ending up with Rin, which to me we went against the entire character arc of Sesshomaru in the Inuyasha series), I immediately ran for comfort to Dokuga only to find an empty well. It seems this became a forgotten dessert and found myself in a strange way mourning. I re-read all the familiar stories I had favorited form years prior and then decided to read through the Dokuga awards winning pieces only to see it went to 2013 and no further.

I was so sad to see stories about Sess x Kag had essentially dwindled to nothing. However in reading some of the incredible winners in the Dokuga awards I came across first your ‘The Once and future Taiyoukai’ which has the best explanation for Sesshomaru’s cold and mysterious character during the Inuyasha timeline. I loved how that earlier history formed what we knew him to be in the series. This kept me up at night reading late into the night, I did even more so for Beside you in Time. I read this in a week! Reading till 3am each time.

You put so much into this series, you are an incredible writer and loved what you did here, although at times this was incredibly hard to read, with my wanting to slam the laptop closed but still glued to the joy in the quiet moments that shaped your distinctive style. You invested so much thought, history and time creating a journey worthy of a world post Naraku for Kagome and Sesshomaru. The whole idea that ‘Naraku was only the beginning,’ was so well done here in this jaunt through history with these two.

Do you plan to write anymore on Sesshomaru and Kagome stories? Believe I saw in one of your chapters you mentioned that you wish to write your own novels, which I think you absolutely must do. I would be sorry to hear if this is the end for Sesshomaru and Kagome with your pen, but did you make it worthwhile! You are an incredible writer and would love to read your original works when they come. If you have an email blast or other would love to follow. I got the sense you were in the medical field based on the emergency calls you mentioned you had to tend to. So props to you in writing all these years with that kind of schedule.

Once more thank you so much for not stopping this story. It is with even more grief that I see some wonderful stories that just simply stopped. A hilarious one called ‘Gone to the Dogs’ By Tally Mark had such a wonderful idea at its core and it seems to just have stopped and I wonder where the great Sess x Kag writers have gone. So for you to continue to update over the years from 2008 though this pandemic was incredibly heartwarming.

Your beta has been a master. I hope Ijin is reading this. Hope that they continue strong with their involvement in the Sesshomaru and Kagome kingdom. I know the few of us left who love this relationship would appreciate if they continue in this realm.

It was so wonderful to dip my toe back into my 15 year love of Inuyasha to find that you had returned to fic and finished this story! I swear I learned more about history from this fic than from 13 years of public education and three college degrees combined. I was riveted through the entire thing. The way their relationship developed was breathtaking too. Way, way before the romance began I read a piece of dialogue or movement of Sesshoumaru's and went, "Oh. Oh. He loves her more than anything else in the world." Stunning and incredible, thank you for sharing with the world!

I waited to read the last three chapters~ wasn't ready to say goodbye. Been following this story from the begining- easily still in my top 10. Figure it shall always remain so. Seriously though, really appreciated all the little details and work that made everything in this story flow so very well. Every chapter had so much going on, and yet it always flowed so beautifully. Australia was always one of the most calming installments that I adored. Could literally feel the peace and understanding between them. Your theming is on point. What a perfect ending
