| Guest chapter 1 . 10/21/2016
This was a tearful, sad, hard read. The fictionalized Story
topic Alone, dealing with the demise of a beloved character, Johnny Lancer, would have been gut wrenching enough. But, the timing factor, of the real recent demise of the actor, James Stacy, made this story line even more difficult.
There were many touching moments. Scott is as you would expect him to be. Trying to be kind , while coming to term with his own loss.
And the first line was indeed, ironic. However, do wish she would have shared her news about Johnny's child.
Not because she could't carry on alone. She has already proven that she can do that. It is just that the news of Johnny's child, would have helped Murdoch and Scott cope with their loss. Helped them, "go on" also.
This works quite well as an episode tag to " Shadow Of A
Dead Man". Forgive me, if my heart holds out for "Hope
Sings" in "Feather 3 ". That's me, being romantic.

What a wonderful story. I actually feel a bit teary now, that was so poignant.
And I loved the little detail about Scott not rinsing out the mug. How true!
