| Scrap Metal Skeleton chapter 1 . 1/19
I read more or less read until chapter 14 - 17 and I found this to be absolutely hilarious and serious at certain points; definitely well-written. At many points, I found myself almost wanting to leave because of all the stereotypes (-women are weaker than men, women are more sensitive, etc.), but after a bit I can see past that. It's not like they're true for all, but for many they ARE; they ARE generalities. I can get past that, because it's plain in my mind that I myself am more emotional than the males I know (but seriously, I could kick all of their asses, pfft). Being one of the outliers just makes me more volatile towards the subject. The point of this story is to show equality between genders, right? Understanding. You use the extremes of both genders to display that and it makes it harder for readers to grasp the end point, but if they continue I think that they will see that, despite these extremes, a sort of understanding is achieved. The extremes probably make the end result more powerful.
As for the characters, I seriously doubt that they would change personalities due to gender. Hormones, yeah, they'd be more emotional if girls and more refined if male, but they wouldn't go full OOC on us.
I don't think this story is bad or that it is poorly written at all; it's just not my cup of tea, ya know? It was great in fact, but it simply did not catch me enough to make me want to finish it.

| Mad Zia Magdalena chapter 6 . 9/16/2013
Two things: First, this story is hilarious. They will take on the entire world navy, admirals, and any pirate, but a gender swap is terrifying. XD
Second, I looked up the art, and it was really, really good!

this is a very good story! I've read from start to finish and I think you handled the strawhats pretty well! even when their sex are reversed you managed to maintain their character with a few understandable changes o sudden OOC'ness
I'll read more of your stories! 10/10 for the plot and settings, 7/10 for the action, and 10/10 for the well placed LuNa parings!

Oh gosh, i can't believe I read the next chapter...
I feel almost offended by this story and all the stereotypes it employs, them being.
-Women are somehow more emotional than men? From my personal experience being a FEMALE and all, that sort of thing comes down to who YOU are, not what your gender somehow decides. It's 2 completely unrelated subjects. The men get turned into women, they start acting like women because of it, which also has to involve every stereotypical women trait I can think of. (Crying, acting over dramatic, causing arguments over stupid things, acting so irrational, being over Emotional in general, and so on...) Last time i checked, you know, with me being a female and all; being a women isn't that daunting of a task, and we're not so different than men. but noooo, Nami and Robin act exactly like they were before their genders got changed, that makes so much sense, there just must be such a thick line between the opposite sexes...
-Women are weaker than men? And again, I said this in my last comment, SKILL IS SKILL. Now that I think about it, you contradict yourself in your own story. When Zoro was fighting that other swordsman, it mentioned several times the word, "Skill" and how that's really all that matters when fighting a "skilled" person, such as Luffy. If skill is the lead factor that really plays into this, than Nami shouldn't have been able to hold of that many men, while Luffy on the other hand, couldn't take them, when in reality, even if he's a women or not, Nami could NEVER match the amount of skill and strength Luffy has, unless she really trained herself.
I find this part especially contradictory.
Luffy: Trained 12 years and is singly the strongest person on the crew. Is superior in strength than most everyone on the crew. Got turned into a female, and was attacked by several average men who showed no exceptionally strong abilities, yet somehow cannot defend himself and is overwhelmed in numbers, and in strength. Loses over 12 years worth of strength and skill from simply getting turned into a chick. O_O
Nami: Shows no exceptionally strong abilities in hand to hand combat, and is quite possibly one of the weakest members of the crew, if not, the weakest. Got turned into a Male and came to the rescue of Luffy, and somehow, fended of these men, using her clima tact, and sheer strength alone. Is Apparently stronger than Luffy (as a female) and somehow those 12 years of training are non and void now that Luffy is a girl.
Zoro: The second strongest person on the crew in strength and in skill. Got turned into a female and challenged a male swordsman to a duel. Was proven not to be quite as strong as the swordsman, but still somehow managed to defeat him using his skill.
Oh my god, really? My point exactly. If skill is such an amazing thing that sets fighters a part, female and male alike, than why couldn't Luffy simply kick those guys asses? He may have not been as strong, but the skill is still there. It's like your saying in this story that Women are skilled, but at the same time they loose all skill when attacked by several non powerful men. XD
Ok, I think I've dissed this story enough, I hope you don't take offence to it, but I was really being bothered by all of these contradictions and stereotypes.

This doesn't make sense... Luffy Is so much more stronger than he's portrayed in this chapter, in fact, he could easily take on that many people, regardless of what gender he is. (And not to mention the fact that he has Haki) skill is skill, and I don't think a gender change would take away from that fact. Somehow Nami could take them on? You don't gain muscle simply from turning into a man, in fact, it would make the most sense that the characters retained the amount of muscle they had. That's like saying women can't be a strong as men, simply because their women, but that's not true, in fact, women can be just as strong. A gender switch would not change how strong they are, it would give them female parts and change their size, but I don't see how you could take strength that they had achieved through vigorous training away to that extent, and to the point that Nami is even stronger than Luffy.
Idk If I want to read this story any longer, I feel almost sickened reading something so far fetched as this chapter. It's not practical in the least bit... and I think practicality is one of the biggest factors when it comes to making good stories. I know this chapter had a good purpose, but it just doesn't make any sense... and I have a hard time reading through it...

I think a certain woman should try switching her own gender. Bloody hypocrite she is.
Great story so far, thank you for writing,
| Princess-Orlaith chapter 29 . 3/20/2013
Great ending I must say! And story!
Very sweet and intriuging! Guess I found it cool at first when the gender bend occured, then after a bit it seemed really...odd. So happy for Luffy and Nami to he their genders again! Boy was that an experience! XD And then bitchy Nami comes back...*sigh*
Okay I seeeriously need Sanji's ibcredibly sexy body...he will 'always' be the sexiest. Zoro's my hot and steamy babe and Luffy's the naive cutie. *faints*
