This is canon to me. You cannot tell me otherwise. The Simon in Viral’s memory are so full of life, you forget he passed. And Viral. Holy shit Viral. This was so pinpoint accurate; his character, his struggles, how he came to be, his growth and his decision to change is just so beautiful. This fic has finally filled the emptiness brought on by the end of the series. It has calmed the need to figure out what comes after. Thank you so much for this, and please don’t ever delete it. I’ll come back to this, to read it whenever I miss Gurren Lagann and its beautiful characters.

I cannot believe I went six whole years without ever having known of this fic. Masterpiece is an understatement: this kind of perfection is what I aspire to be able to do. Incredible, amazing, astounding, unbelievable, marvelous, fantastic, excellent, masterful... I could look up all the words in a dictionary and still not be able to find one that fits, because this story is just that BRILLIANT.
