![]() ![]() ![]() Very touching. This story was extremely well written and the plot very original. I must say I had almost the same idea as you once, but never continued it. Anyway this almost made me cry and I'd give it five stars -WS |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story's been in my favorites for years...And I'm sorry I've never commented on it before now. This story is beautiful. The dialogue, the realism, everything... Fantastic work. TenorSax93 |
![]() ![]() That...was just beautiful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Goddamn... that was absolutely brilliant! The story you were able to tell with this song was absolutely incredible! This has got to be one of the best stories I've ever read on this site, man, and I'm not bullshittin' ya when I say that. Each and every single character (with the exception of Rolf) had an incredible story to tell, and the fact that this was all inspired through this song for you is just... breath taking! Peace, Love, Brandon Brownson |
![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely amazing...and indescribable. You have a natural, raw talent for writing! I loved it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing story, very detailed about the past & present.. honestly what confused me was how did Nazz end up with Double D? Were Kevin & Nazz dating until he had to go off to Vietnam? Too bad there really wasnt more about Johnny.. and why Plank was randomly at the junkyard until the last part where he picked him up again. |
![]() ![]() ![]() When I noticed it had the Don McLean lyrics going, I played the song on loop in the background.. Don't know you if you did the same but it brings even more emotion out of an intensely emotional story. The beauty of this piece is it's stunning realism. If someone read this who wasn't familiar with the cartoon, they could mistake it for a real world fiction. It's one of the rare stories that would look great in animated form (it would be one REALLY dark episode, wouldn't it?) It takes a good writer to legitimately surprise someone used to reading fiction. When I read it was Double D in the grave (instead of Jimmy as I thought), I felt the blow. Excellent, excellent work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Extremely well written, and with just the right amount of angst. Job well done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, that almost made me cry Q_Q good story, it's so real. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Incredible. I loved it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow... This story is amazing, just the way to seamlessly transist through time to explain what was going on. I mean damn... I was practically brought to tears at the end. Bye-Bye Double D... We knew you well. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing. simply Amazing. that's all i can say. amazing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is just an amazing story and you are an amazing writer! I love this story, and have favorited it! It just feels so real, and that's what makes it amazing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Woah. What a beautiful story. Edd's death (police brutality), Ed and Jimmy overdosing, Vietnam, loadsa other things. * (in other words, 5 stars) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my Lord... Honestly, that has to be the best story I've ever read. It got the realism no one ever gets in anything... And I nearly cried; only one other story has ever done that to me. The worst part is that this is what the world is like today even, only maybe better now days. But back then, that was exactly what it was like probably. I can't believe how realistic that was... And how sad it is that the world is really like that. Those lucky enough to not go through this, me included, really have to think about how much worse it could be... Great job, man. I've favorting this... |
