ohh is that a threat that darcy is making to talk to collins or a promise? what will elizabeth do? she knows he knows more than she's said. collins is ridiculously astute in this story, but it might come in real handy.

I like the idea of Anne being remade by Lydia. The poor girl needs it. Lady C & Willie Collins are interesting. I feel like there is so much more to the characters than we know yet. Thank so much for the new chapter. Very much appreciated!

I wish Lizzy had been honest with Darcy about her beads. He seems attracted to her, but making him think she's still in love with another man who died is not in her best interest. I'm curious about what Bingley is up to. Will he be playing matchmaker between E&D?

How much longer until Darcy starts remembering Lizzy and the time they spent together? I hope it's soon or all my fingernails will be gone.

Awesome update...and just after I found this story! Loved your description of the mind...I'm an educational psychologist so have read quite a bit on the subject, and you even touched on some medieval perspectives on the mind (one of my fist papers in doctoral program).

What a fantastic story you have here! It's incredibly well-written and the plot is gripping-it reminds me a bit of "The Little Mermaid" but even better because it's got my favorite P&P characters in it...and you guaranteed a happy ending. Good grief though, you really have me feeling for Lizzy. My heart is breaking for her and how it must feel to be so close to the one you love and not have him remember. I think you describe her pain well, with just the right amount of angst without being melodramatic. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. I hope you will update soon! So, Elizabeth is getting a little impatient with her Darcy/Smithy is she? LOL I think she should answer all his questions honestly...like his inquiry about her beads. She should tell him the truth, she just doesn't have to name names. He may be noticing things that indicate he is trying to remember but if she's not straight forward with him she may actually be guilty of of derailing his recovery.

I'm relieved to see a saner side of Anne. For a while there I was starting to think of her as a snapped Carrie or something. Hopefully she will work at nurturing her humanity. LOL

I am all curiosity as to what Mr. Collins is up to. I have a suspicion but will wait to see if I am correct.
