I'm just loving this more and more. It's just such an original and well written story, and I agree with the previous reviewer, you should post this in other place too, because more people should be reading this.

This is such a good story. Sweet and sad at the same time. Hopefully Darcy will remember something when they meet. It would be very cruel if he dismissed Elizabeth as only tolerable...

I would suggest that you put this story on some more boards, like AHA, for example, because it is not easily found as it is. Maybe you could put notice of it in JAFF index?

Then I also have one "critical" comment. I noticed that they travel a lot with cars and buses. I am not that good in history and I do not know how widespread automobiles were at the time, but I think in England they mainly traveled using railways. Only rich, not middle class had cars. As it is important that Lizzy goes by car (woman driving, was it usual at the time?), maybe you could add somewhere why Lizzy has a car and why she knows how to drive (through nursing?).

I hope you update soon, I cannot wait to read more about your very compassionate Lizzy and confused Darcy.

I have enjoyed reading this story I would like to see it continue. I have been thinking of possiblities and can't wait for the rest.

after re-reading the story thus far, as a whole, i can't help but wonder, with the last part of this chapter, if that lizzie will actaully end up pregant.

it then gets me thing of how they meet again, there is the link of lizzie going to seek her fortunes in london, where you said darcy is also known. the second more obvious is that of the fitzwillaim link, and if she is pregant, what will the other characters reactions be.

hum... i guess i think to much about it.

I am really enjoying this story so far. It's wonderfully written and I love your Darcy and Elizabeth. The time period itself is also very original and hasn't been done to death in the fandom, which I appreciate. I truly look forward to reading more of this and seeing where the story goes.
