I think you might have overdid the 'scared of going into Batman's mind' a tad. Okay for Wally, but the others? A bit much. imho.

That was nice of Wally to let himself be hit with the cake. :)

Well FINALLY! And no I'm not mad even though at one point I was ready to send you a PM with some colorful language about where the heck you were. Thanks for the updates! I don't think I ever read the edited chapter 7 so I did, and now I've read chapter 8 and as usual I want you to update like Flash!

You said it wasn't your greatest writing, but it was still very good IMO. I'm glad we started getting into his mind and the humor is still there. Babs and Tim are so much fun. Thoughts of Diana and Cass seeing a cute tiny young Bruce is great. I've yet to see a specific moment that would be cool for Babs, Tim, Clark, and J'onn but it'll be very cool in the next chapter 'cause I have an exact idea of what they're about to see. The "evil hobo" scene was pretty cool. Lastly Wally getting his own little preview was a good idea and adding Terry was fantastic.

You're right about him being a possibility. I'm guessing this is how it goes: if Bruce doesn't keep those he loves close to him, Terry will be there, but if he does keep those he cares about close, then Terry will be there in the future, but not in that exact form as Bruce's son(Bruce'd probably have his own "real" children).

It kind of sucks that they made a Batman Beyond 'cause then we know what happens in the future and we see how lonely Bruce ends up and weirdly Clark is kind of lonely too(Lois died?). Sad to see how the World's Finest didn't get there happily ever after(what to expect? it's a comic). That's basically why I wanted them to sort of expand the Bat Family of the future, or at least have them have closer ties with the old members of the Bat Family. Just my speculation on that. Sorry I'm ranting! Been a long time since I've reviewed this.

So in summary: I'm guessing Diana and Cass are going to see the more personal childhood times of Bruce, John, Shayera, and Zantana are going to see his Batman origins(they disappeared in that bubble of light or something so I'm not sure where they're going), Clark, J'onn, Babs, and Tim are going to see the more sentimental side to the current Batman, and Wally(now with Terry) will both see the terrors that haunt the Bat/Bruce Wayne. Cool! It probably won't follow this exact pattern but I'm just hypothesizing.

All right I'm done! Longest review I've like ever written! It's probably 'cause I'm just glad you're back and writing this wonderful story. Plus, again, no worries about the whole not writing for so long. I do that a lot because I like you said about yourself just need a blast of ideas instead of just writing it so slow with no quality. Besides I just kind of made my brain kind of give up on this story subconsciously so that I wouldn't get all unpsyched that you were taking too long. Any way UPDATE very very very very very very very very very very very very very very SOON!

Love it that you blend the JLU and Batmans begins. Maybe you can also add the DK.

Please also show the alleyscene and the funeral, I would really like that. Also his training in the league of shadows, and maybe something with a few of the JLU episodes, like maid of honour or starcrossed.

Give the rest of the League (except Diana)a shocker.

To sum up this story in one word would be: amazing. I can't wait for the next chapter especially after the note about time travel!

THis is my first review ever, I have been reading a lot of fanfics of Batman and the JL, and thsi story needs a review. It's one of the best story I've read. It so intrueging and addicted I want to read more everytime. It's well thought up how you intregrated the comics, movies and the cartoons together, it makes it so interesting to read. How you potrait bruce's mind was awesome. I have one comment thow in a previous chapter i think is 5, you kinda retold a big piece of the movie in the story. I know it is important for the character to interact within Bruce's mind, but I find it a little repetitive and long if you have ssen the movie. But in this chapter I find it you pull it off nicely you summarized it short and to the point during Cassie explaining to Diana about Rachel.

But everything else is good, I love this story I can't wait for more...

So far this is really good; i'm liking it. The only thing i could say is that less stuff from the movies would be good, but i like bringing in the rest of the batclan.
