I feel like I’ve been reading this fic for like 3 weeks and I’m only on chapter 9, then I proceeded to see the 80 something chapters I still have. Very excited to read it, but my god this slow burn is literally slowly killing me with how much I love it. I can’t wait for the goods!

That also being said, it wasn't totally charitable on my part on the review of the last chapter - that was just knee-jerk, so I apologize for that. It has nothing to do with the author, just the damsel in distress (when she's really not) trope that I find so offensive.
I have otherwise enjoyed the plotline, it's well written, with very rare spelling errors (which is so nice to read, as that's not necessarily the case with other fanfics). It's a bit slow/angsty, but I know that's the intent of the author, so it does what it's supposed to do.

It dismays me greatly when women stand at the sidelines when watching men fight, as if they're damsels in distress. Katara's just standing by and watching? That's ridiculous, and weak.

Although some chapters had me wanting to rip my hair out, this story is by far one of, if not THE, best story I have ever read across all of my favorite fandoms.

It's going to be hard reading other stories now knowing that there are amazing works and brilliant writers such as yourself tucked away amongst pages and pages of fics just waiting to be discovered and read. I am so incredibly glad that I stumbled across this story and it has been a pleasure to read it.

wow, this is incredible story with complex trouble and unexpected. i happy that in the end this have a happy ending. i know this story have so many chapters and with some building relationships between katara and zuko. this story have some great aspect and privacy that no much lemon here because if you all wanted to see that, you can go to the link in the profile. good job for the story..

Even if it took you 10 years, the important thing is that you finished your story.
There was some parts that were to sad for me but it was a great fic overall.
I'm new in this fandom, just recently watched the serie but the only thing I didn't like was the Aang/Karata and Zuko/Mai romance, worst pairings ever. So I'm glad to discover there's good fanfics out there.
