So deep. You went all psychoanalytic on his ass!
I still love it as much as the first time I read it.

That was a really great one-shot. I'm sure some people will freak at the thought of a vampire in church, but one of my favorite parts in Twilight is when Bella asks Edward why they feed on animals, and he says something about "just because fate dealt us a hand, doesn't mean we can't try to be better". That seems like a motto we can all live with. I think this story fits right in with that thought process.

| Adieu FanFic xxx chapter 1 . 9/17/2008
Precise. Beautiful. Sensual. Consequential. Mystical. Grounded.
This little offering is the epitome of classic. I sat here and soaked in every nuance of the visual, audio and olifactory cues you gave us. I felt the church, the ground underneath the feet, the matchbox in Edward's hand, the age soaked turn of the pews. I could taste the oils, the acrid afterburn of fatted candles.
You did beautifully well. And I too believe that Edward from Midnight Sun would have done this. Scripted perfectly, presented and shared with exquisite care.

That was beautiful...precious...genuine. I agree with you wholeheartedly, Breaking Dawn needs to be set aside. Your version of filling in the holes, Edward at the church, embracing his this, his human side and your writing this one shot are like healing balm to a chronic ache since Aug. 2nd at midnight. I loved this...and I adore you. I am of course a huge fan, have been since I found you months ago. Luckily for me, you continue to gift me with treasures like this.
A million times, thank you...

This was really good! The idea of Edward in a church, praying...it's a very good idea. But, this is the only fan fiction that's I've read that was like this. Great job for being unique in my eyes.
