![]() ![]() Sigh. If only things had been more like this on the show and Gibbs actually cared about Tony. Too bad he was always more open and affectionate with basically everybody else. I wish it had been like this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awww - gotta love that male bonding! |
![]() ![]() ![]() SWEET |
![]() ![]() ![]() I absolutley adore this story :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like it. Miss ou writing in this AU. |
![]() ![]() Unbelievably late, but I also advocate to never, ever use epithets. They're really unnecessary and not only annoy me, but take me completely out of the story. 'Tony said' and 'Gibbs said' is really not repetitive, as it's lazy to rely on such descriptors otherwise. The dialogue itself is what's important; people don't think twice about how the 'said's as they read through. Trust your story, trust your narrative. If it's good, it'll convey your message just fine. You don't need them. Just look at classic fiction; epithets are never used. My two cents, but your writing is good enough that you don't need to fall back on those. Just stick with the characters' names :) () |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome fic! Addressed some key issues here and come season 10, same issues need to be addressed again I think, so this was wonderful to read :D x |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well yeah, DiNozzo, I need you to tell me what bug crawled up your ass. Gibbs was to the point no messing around. He wants answers. Even as Gibbs lifted his hand he wondered what it said about the Italian that it took a head slap and a thorough dressing down to make him feel loved and wanted. To his uttter astonishment, DiNozzo's hand flashed out, catching his wrist in a vice like grip and stayed his hand when it was still some inches from his head. "You don't get to do that any more." That's bad. Tony is really hurting. "You gave him a nick name," Tony burst out, when he could bear it no longer. "You never gave me a nickname."He sounded like a little kid. Tony couldn't imagine having a better father than Gibbs and he knew the older man saw in DiNozzo the son he had never had. So right. Gibbs has done right by Tony and helping grow into a better man than Sr ever could of done. Loved when Tony called him dad. Probably have said this before i wish they had more of a father/son relationship on the show. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story! I really enjoyed the last chapter! |

![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! Absolutly awesome chapter! You did an excellent job as always at showing the depth of the relationship between Tony and Gibbs. Gibbs may not express himself in words very often and not come right out and tell Tony he loves him like a son -but all of his deeds clearly show that, that is exactly how he feels. Thanks for yet another wonderful story! |
