Beautiful ending to an excellent story. Glad they found there way back to each other. They have both overcome many obstacles to get where they are.

WTF! Renji can’t seriously be going through with this. This plan of Urahara’s to use Renji as a test subject is crazy. The man is insane! And I always kept him rated slightly above Mayuri.

Kuchiki and that stupid arrogant pride. Get up, soldier! So you took a hit to the heart. Suck it up! Get back to your feet and fight like the powerful Shinigami we know you are!

Byakuya’s dream was hot! Freaking tell him already! Baka! You really think someone that deeply involved would reject you?

‘I don’t think you’ve got the right person...’ At least he tried, right?

Sorry, but I feel that Byakuya needed that punch to the face. I understand that he’s trying to hide his own hurt, but he’s only being a coward by not facing this head-on.

I laughed so hard, at the first part... ‘uh... oh god’s... he’s not my son, is he?’ Great idea, to liven the mood. And why is Byakuya being so cold now? It’s during these five days that Renji needs his support most.

Glad to see Renji’s base instinct is allowing him to trust Byakuya, at least some. It’s not gonna be easy, but I know Byakuya can convince him of the truth. Just hope Renji’s not so dependent on that cocktail of meds.

The sparring match was wonderful! Can’t hide Renji’s cocky personality. Especially when going up against Byakuya’s demanding moves.

Oh, be still my heart. Their own reiatsu intermingling with the other’s is so sensual. Love it!

Stop! Nope! Break it up! Byakuya is not to be kissed, touched, or even looked at by anyone other than Renji.

What?! No, this can’t be happening. You have to remember, Renji. Go back to Byakuya.

On a side ramble. Not flaming, just curious if there’s any info on what an average doctor (not Kurosaki Isshin or Ishida Ryuukin) would find/see if they were to come in contact with a Shinigami in a gigai. I’m sure Urahara has nearly perfected the gigai at this point, but still it’s a thought in my head. I mean wouldn’t Urahara Kisuke, Shihōin Yuroichi, Kurosaki Isshin, and Tsukabishi Tessai all need to wear gigai more or less permanently to interact with humans? Oh, and the vizards, as well. Oh man, I might be thinking to much, lol

So sad! Renji is lost. Byakuya is so determined to find the redhead. Keep that stubborn optimism, you’ll find him soon, I’m sure.

I don't know if you're ever going to read this review, but I wanted to tell you this was one of the best bleach fanfictions I have read so far, the way you wrote Byakuya was so in character, and that's why it was so heartbreaking x')
I really really loved it and I wish you the best of luck in life and as a writer if you keep going this way :D

Read story in one go, it's hard to read with tears running down your cheeks. EXCELLENT in every way.
