![]() ![]() ![]() Bella took all that crap from Mike for the longest time until HE threw her out and now she leaves Edward without at least trying to communicate her needs to him. Although Edward wasn't thinking clearly himself, with time he'd realize that he couldn't just leave Bella in NY as it sounded like he wanted to do. So Bella runs to Jake, smart now that she knows she has someone to run to. But why hadn't she ever reached out to her parents? just a thought Now she's at her apartment to get her things and comes upon an abused Jessica, wow. |
![]() ![]() ![]() How ridiculous. Going to the police over the attack was right and just thing to do. But immediately from that they go to sex. I'm sure the idea was that Bella would want some loving diversion from the attack but honestly, what woman would be sexually assaulted and after all that she went through in the aftermath want to have sex and then Edward argues about keeping her in New York as he set up for her. Silly Edward. Why discuss like adults? lol I know it makes for good drama. |
![]() ![]() ![]() James and Victoria are pure evil. Did they set this whole thing up with Victoria spilling wine on Bella's dress knowing she'd go to the ladies room so that James would follow her. And what business man in his right mind would do something this evil in the mist of a formal gathering. Did he not know Bella would either yell during him coming after her in a locked bathroom or at the least tell Edward at some point and surely he'd go after the brut. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm so glad Bella finally told Edward she's been interviewing for jobs. Now Edward needs to be completely honest with her if he thinks that Riley isn't to be trusted and why. If Bella knew that company was the Gray Knight she'd be understanding of the situation. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Their first time was on a piano with everyone in the area? Anyone could have walked into the room. Did they go all the way? No condom? I'm a little confused. |
![]() ![]() ![]() First of all, what made the skank girls start saying Bella was A whore and that Edward is known to 'date' whores? James at the end says he wants Bella now since he thinks she's an easy woman. Why would everyone jump to that conclusion? Just based on a few woman gossiping? And then Mike starts talking about the same topic? What is it about Bella that would deem her a prostitute? |
![]() ![]() ![]() A lot of drama in this chapter. I figured Jessica was the Jessica who was with Mike. But when Bella was at the bar and someone was cozying up to her I thought it was going to be Mike but it was yet another evil one, James. And then the skank girls in the ladies room talking crap about Edward using prostitutes and that Bella was a plain jane. Oh my, so much drama. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love Edward's family. So happy Bella told Alice and then they in turn told Esme and Rose which means everyone now knows how they really met minus the embarrassing part for Edward. These two are adults, they are mutually attracted to each other and seems good to go with taking the sexual tension to the next step, so why is Bella waiting to find out what Edward's game plan is so she can come up with one of her own. Silly games. Fun to read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I see why Edward has to go back to Seattle but why does Bella have to stay put in NY? It's not like she has a job yet or family and friends here (besides newly finding Jacob again) Anyway, another fairytale night for Bella on the town with Edward. How is she going to let him go so easily and what's with Edward being ok with leaving Bella and going back to Seattle without at least fighting to have more with her? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Bella really was cruel with the way she rejected Edward. I'm not saying she needed to feed his passion for her if she didn't choose to, but she could have just been up front with him as to why she's rejecting him right now. I just knew Mike was going to show up in the path of Edward's company. I wonder how he's going to wreck things with Bella this time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It was big of Edward to find Jacob for Bella. Should show her he wants only the best for her. I think she needs to be honest with her seeking out work for herself. And again, why didn't she do that while she was with Mike. He really was controlling if she couldn't or wouldn't find work for herself. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Too bad Bella hadn't been this strong and independent when she got sucked in by Mike. I guess that's the reason she is keeping her emotional distance from Edward and won't let him get too close too quickly. Loved Emmett. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What NY fun! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'd never heard that business tale of the Black/White/Gray Knight. Cool that it was woven into this story as it was. And Bella doesn't seem like such a meek woman when she wants to be it seems. She had no problem speaking up to Edward's business acquisition and showing she knows her 'stuff' Why then won't she speak up on her behalf and just tell Edward about being kicked to the curb by her ex? Better than anyone thinking something even worse about her. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well this is a fairytale so I'll go along with Bella being the damsel and enjoy it all and not think of The Me Too movement in real life. I hope Bella gets a chance soon to express that she was being emotionally abused and that she is a lovely soul as Edward appears to be attracted to. |
