New/bio-Basestars (inverted double Y) are crap. They have negligible armor, no direct fire weapons (guns), and have that stupid rotation ability to bring both the upper and lower Y into alignment with one another. They can heal themselves with enough time, but are rather fragile.

A single battlestar in gun range of a new model base star would own it hard.

Also, Battlestars aren't missile boats, or like UNSC ships from Halo - they use anti-ship missiles relatively infrequently, and in small salvo sizes.

Hope you still have interest in this arc and are still making edits.

I just discovered this fanfic - it's a lot of fun! Too bad it hasn't updated in a year - I hope you get back to it.

This storyline was rec on a yahoo group. Looks excellent, but update last was last year. So going to assumed it is dead... Shame though, but seems to be the trend of 100% of any sort of rewrites, they get dead/abandon...

I am delighted to see updates to this tale. I am really looking forward to seeing where you take this tale.
