That was great. Now I think about it they really are overdue a kidnapping. I'd rather not ask where the inspiration came from though...

Aching Bones chapter 1 . 10/3/2008
Hi there,

Love how Booth's sniper skills came into action the second he came too...They had searched him enough to find both his guns but he hoped they had not found the rest of his weapons...Love how his first rational thought was for HER!...

'Where was she?...what had he done with her?'...

He thought about the other women who had been murdered and how it had always been three days...

He thought about the Tac Team and if they had successfully back tracked the route they had took...he thought of the squints who after a couple of missed calls would alert the FBI...the squints were good but they were better when Bones and Booth were with them...

The 'killer' came in with what Booth believed to be Bones...he dumped her on the ground...although Booth had pretended that he was still out the killer knew that he was awake...he knocked him out again...

Love how he kept the file in his belt...the same brown belt he wore only changing the buckles...and thanking whatever saint was responsible for it being his Ranger buckle today because that held many more little gems that he could use...(a real McGuiver too)

The killer not getting enough satisfaction from Bones not screaming decided to use a bucket of water to heighten the shock it would cause her..

'With each jolt the killer sent through her, the agent felt an answering one in his own body- though the killer was right. If he'd merely physically tortured Booth, the agent would have been able to overcome it, and do what needed to be done. It was the sight of her suffering that tore at him'...

What frightened Booth the most was not that she could not withstand the torture because he knew she could but...

'What mattered, and what Booth now began to doubt, was whether he could stay sane long enough to get them both out of there...

'You two make quite a pair, scientist and agent, husband and wife'...surprised to hear that...Bones and Booth married...I thought maybe he just thought that!

'Booth didn't even look at him- he just kept his eyes trained on her, watching her breathing, each shallow rise and fall a promise that he had time to get them out of there'...

The killer was impressed that he had managed to 'draw' them into his case...

The killer tortured Booth with promises of what he would do to her later...running his hands over her body...

'Booth's fingers were shaking, and he stopped working at his bonds for a moment, willing himself to take deep breaths despite the sight in front of him'...

When Bones bit the killers finger...

'Booth's heart swelled with pride again at her ferocity. His Bones would take what chances she could, and he bet that the killer would back off, for a while, on that particular method of torture.'...

As the killer continued to torture her badly with the picana...

'Her scream stopped Booth's heart even as a large strand of rope broke free from around his wrists...

The killer hearing Booth moan thought that he had finally broken him and decided that he would take his gag off so that he could torture her more listening to him moan and cry out everytime she screamed...But as bad as it was when it happened, I have to say that Booth was the 'prefessional' he was when he dispensed with him the way he did and as quickly as he did...too quickly I fear as he did not suffer like all his victims and Bones had...

'"Your poor face," she said, her voice rasping and almost inaudible, one fingertip on his chin turning him so she could look at the damage the killer inflicted'...

'Your poor everything," he husked, swallowing back tears now that she was safe again'..

'He winced as her arm around his waist pressed into his broken ribs, and she winced as his arm at her waist pushed against the bruises she'd earned falling into the door as the truck rolled and crashed. "What a pair," he said, trying to make light as each limped and hissed their way to the nearest door.'...

The tac team arrived then...what greeted them amazed them...the bruised and battered pair who had freed themselves...

'As the team stood, mouths agape, the agent and scientist, husband and wife, made their way out the door. As they emerged, the rest of the team, waiting, heard them begin one of their characteristic arguments'...

Love how all the inert team around them were frozen, unable to do anything positive...love how the young tac guy stood with the blankets after seeing the ropes and torture stuff that they had escaped from themselves...I reckon the Bones and Booth's reputation preceeds them big time these days...

Laughed at Booth taking control...

'Geez, Bones," he grumbled. "You want something done right, you have to do it yourself." The rest of the bystanders dispersed, as the squad leader went back in to start overseeing the collection of evidence. When they were alone again, each took a step toward the other, until he could wrap his arms around her, and she around him'...

Loved how they were still being noticed as they kissed...AH!

Just loved this story...even though it was blood thirsty and violent it ended well for our favourite duo...who coincidently are Mr and Mrs. now eh! I liked that bit...

You are just an amazing writer...where do you come up with all this stuff and the rate you write it at...Thanks to Celtic33 too...

mumrulz chapter 1 . 10/2/2008
Wow!...that was intense...emotional...powerful...another wonderfully fantabulous fic from you.

My heart was pounding in my ears the whole time...I found I was holding my breath...resisiting the urge to jump ahead to see what other torture he was going to inflict on them. I literally had to force myself to not scroll ahead, bringing up only one paragraph at a time, so that my eyes were not tempted to wander down. LOL.

Loved the way that Brennan knew that Booth had been in the room...& as always loved the faith they had in each other.

I love the way that you keep churning these fics out...all so different...yet all so perfect. Looking forward to whatever have planned next for us.:-):-):-)
doctorsuez chapter 1 . 10/2/2008
You sure know how to wrap tons of emotion, drama, and love in one package. This is a great little fic. I loved that you used the I knew you wouldn't give up" reference. It is truly the best of Brennan and Booth. They trust each other fully and will always be there for each other.

You are truly a wonderful writer. I love reading all of your stories. You amaze me that you can turn out so many unique pieces in such a short amount of time.

Can't wait to read more from you! Hopefully an update on Serendipity soon? Please!
