Woah. That was so crazy. Like. Dang. I really liked it. Tbh I could tell it was written so well because I kept getting increasingly frustrated with Harley and all the stupid decisions she was making. This was really good. I read it all in a day XDXD Good luck on future writings!

This is so interesting, I really like it! I enjoy how petty and exasperated your Jonathan gets in his dealings with the Joker; this is one of my first forays into Scarecrow-centric fic, but you've made him so delightfully human. I'm sure he'd hate that, but you've managed to roll his rage/impotence/homicidality together with a vulnerability that is somehow really endearing.

One thing did stick out to me though: any staff working in a forensic inpatient facility who's gotten to the point of working with highly aggressive/violent individuals (no matter how qualified they are to be there), or is clinically confident/foolhardy enough to be in an enclosed room with an unrestrained patient who has access to a potential weapon like glasses, will have heard faaaaar more traumatic stories of abuse than being locked in a closet or assaulted with a staple gun. And that's not to say that either aren't horrible, scarring things to do to any human being, let alone a child! They are. It's just...kind of a reality of working with certain populations, particularly the criminally insane or severely mentally ill. Granted I'm only on Chapter 4, Harley is meant to be a pretty special case, and it's a spectacular nitpick! But it was just interesting to me.

Aside from that, I really, really love how you're portraying Harley's approach as a clinician. It honestly makes so much sense for her as a character. And seriously, this is the most realistic portrayal I've read of someone who has some therapeutic training, kind of gets the gist of what she's supposed to do and is really trying, but ultimately is just in over her head. She's *almost* on the right side of competent, her heart is 100% in the right place, and you can just feel her being damned by her own good intentions. The way you balanced this style that encourages rapport building and conveys empathy but also manages to be wrong enough to do harm was so enjoyable. Especially the back pat! So inappropriate, and such a perfect way to convey who she is in this role vs. who she should be. Overall, thought it was great, and looking forward to reading the rest!

I take it back, she's STUPID.

Can't decide if Harley is essentially stupid or just arrogant. So everybody has good qualities? Suppose we stipulate that Hitler had some good qualities. What difference does it make? The Joker has charm, but so did Ted Bundy. Mmmmm. I'd have to say that Harley is skilled and talented, but lacks experience. Therapists are like nuns; the ones who last are hard-boiled. Harley is still soft-boiled.

Woah, I'm hooked. The Joker's totally in character and so is Crane. I love how you portray Harleen Quinzel. She seems so normal, intelligent and sane. If I hadn't already known what was going to happen, I would never have guessed she'd become Harlequin. Love this story!

This chapter is a good start, I really like the idea. This story is well written, though I feel the Joker is a little OOC in the beginning.

This story was amazing! I love the interactions of Isley and Crane and Nigma. I'd watch a whole show just about them, but then the Harley/Joker interaction was almost just as fun and fascinating. Really fantastic work!

This story is. Amazing. I love the way you portrayed all the characters, especially the Joker and Jonny. The latter, seriously needs more hugs. I can't wait to start reading the sequels.
