Reviews for Knight Moves
Aisha Kaltinera chapter 1 . 1/16/2011
This was amazing. I feel like I understand Fuujin much better now. But, um, what happened to Raijin? Otherwise, amazing.
Bluegoat chapter 1 . 4/7/2009
This was some really incredible poetic introspection. I'm honestly surprised you don't have more reviews. These are the best depictions of Fujin (definitely) and Seifer (probably) that I have ever read, both for accuracy to canon and depth. In fact, you gave Fujin more depth than I think she ever had in the game. (Unless you want to say it was there to be pointed out; but seriously, you really fleshed her out, I think.)

This is really brilliant, I admire your skills and your presentation of these characters makes me love them. Wonderful job!
wheatear chapter 1 . 3/9/2009
Really interesting perspective on Fujin and Seifer. I like the fragmented style - it's like Fujin herself, sort of cold and sharp. It's very poetic as well, which is difficult to do, but I think you pulled it off. Great insight into the characters - I imagined that this took place just before Fujin makes her heartfelt speech to Seifer. Don't know if that's right, but it seems to fit.
Natersby chapter 1 . 12/11/2008
I really like the layout, actually. It's refreshingly unorthodox. The opening few pargraphs are particularly strong, especially "littered the corpses of decisions made and selves that nearly were." I like the succint poetic lines that appear throughout.

"His was the furious defiance of an abandoned child; bold and reckless, he would paint his existence across the world, never caring if the strokes drew blood. Never caring if the blood was his own," expresses Seifer's mentality very well. It's nice to get Fujin's p.o.v and to see the charcters through her eyes (ehm, eye.)

Anyway, I enjoyed both pieces and hope you continue to write pieces for FF!
