Jinx of the 2nd Law chapter 1 . 6/28/2011
Good stuff, thanks for posting!

My father's great grandmother was Indianna C Anderson, born 1879. She was also a daughter of Jahn and Caroline Anderzon. In 1895, she married a W. J. Tolbert and had two daughters. W.J. died prior to 1900 census, so I have NO data on him. He left India a 21 year old widow with 2 tiny daughters. She lived on Henry Harvell Bayou and was apparently also a washerwoman.

She remarried a Jim Williams in 1900 or early 1901, and had some more kids.

The oldest daughter of India, Mary Etta, married William Henry Harvell, and had several kids, as was done. Daughter Essie Louise married Pearce Jernigan, and gave birth to my father Ray.

So we are cousins!

Do you have any further information on Jahn and Caroline, or the name of India's first husband? I also can't find any data on William Henry Harvell's parents.

My mother's grandparents were Arrie Taylor Roberts and Minerva Harvell. I have Harvell's on both sides! I think that Minnie's grandfather is the same William Green Harvell that was the father of Caroline who married Jahn Anderson!

Anyways, any family info you can share is GREATLY appreciated!
