dude356 chapter 9 . 12/18/2018
I really enjoyed this story. It mixed things that I've seen done before ("uncle" Severus, ministry mole Umbridge, love potion abuse from several Weasleys, Potters taking the British Wizarding community to task for being easily misled, etc.) and several things that I haven't (Umbridge covering an attractive body with a glamor and having a personality that was basically a 180 from her canon personality, entire memory "downloads", etc.) together very well. Once I started reading it, I didn't want to stop.

There was the occasional grammar issue and it wasn't always easy to tell whether a character was talking in the present or in flashback, but those issues were so minor that they had little impact on my enjoyment of the story.
Someone sensible chapter 1 . 12/5/2018
I know this fic is over ten years old by now but... Good lord that was bad. Just a wordy excuse for written child porn and over-the-top self-gratifying 'plot twists'. Of course, OOCness is expected in fanfiction but I have never seen a fic with zero characters who are so extremely unlike their source material before. The fic is also filled with a number of grammatical errors and immersion-breaking plot holes that are literally so avoidable, yet the you just... Didnt care enough. Maybe if you didnt try to mary sue an entire story (I mean, props for succeeding on something so difficult), you wouldnt have contradicted yourself so many times.

Also, what was with the bashing? Having issues with badly written/behaving characters is one thing, as well as disliking canon ships, but jesus did you just decide to exacerbate your rage and let it fuel your writing of all the weasley's, bar one.

Back to the written child porn; fuck that. Like another reviewer said, if you had been a young author at the time of writing it may have been forgivable, or at least able to be overlooked. Considering you were close to 30, that's just nasty... I gave uo very quickly bc it was just... Unreadable. Thanks for nothing

Your story has been an absolute pleasure to read! I adore your dedication to detail and accuracy, you created fun and relatable characters and it's without a doubt one of my favourites so far. Thank you!

Thank you. Again :-)
Saissa chapter 2 . 11/24/2018
15 years ago the pay phones in Canada cost 25 Cents (a quarter) for a local call. Then about 10 years ago (in 2007) they sudenly doubled in price. The last time I used a pay phone, they cost 50 cents! Apparently in 2012, Bell canada did ask to be allowed to double that price again, but the CRTC said NO.

But the number of payphones is dropping. There used to be over 100,000 pay phones in Ontario.
Now there are less than half that number - because most people use their cell phones, Well not everyone owns a cell phone - including me! They cost way too much and I do not want to be a slave to a phone.

Interesting chapter.

I think this will be one of the most entertaining fics I've read in a while. Shame about the Twins though, I always thought they'd be above that sort of behavior.
MotekElm chapter 9 . 11/3/2018
well written 7 year AU Harmony
MotekElm chapter 2 . 11/2/2018
I love it, but I don't understand why Hermione and Harry would reveal the sexual side of their relationship to everyone.
MotekElm chapter 1 . 11/2/2018
nice AU idea

Wow, I really liked this :) I loved how you addressed the plot holes of the story and I loved the smack down on certain characters.

Dear Seel'vor,
I want to begin by saying that I just finished reading this story for the fourth or fifth time. This is easily one of the best stories I have ever read on the fanfiction site.
The basis of making the story of Harry Potter essentially only a half-truth creates remarkable freedom for an author to create their own truth, while at the same time posing the challenge of how will you manage to rewrite that many details?
From the beginning, the story is utterly captivating. It is well-detailed, it portrays Severus Snape and Dolores Umbridge in a light that is relatively uncommon, and it makes Harry an intelligent wizard next to the magical genius that is Hermione Granger. I was fascinated by the character portrayals, and loved each and every one of them. I especially love stories where Harry is intelligent without being god-like. He definitely has the potential to be intelligent.
I am a huge fan of the Harry/Hermione (affectionately known as Harmony) pairing, and I love how it develops, strengthens, and how they manage to become better through their influence on each other. I always thought they would make a good pairing, and this story does that in a spectacular way!
While I am normally not a fan of stories that bash characters, it feels acceptable in your story. It is integrated very well, and I do agree that Ron and Hermione should never have been a pair (at least the Hermione in your story agrees with me on that one). I always liked Arthur Weasley, so I am glad that he was spared. I liked Fred & George too, but again, you write it very well as to why they are treated as they are. The ending of your stories leaves the reader feeling as if the two of them can also be redeemed.
Your character feel human, relatable, and seem very fair. I love the nicknames you gave all of them, and I love how you have rewritten many key events in a way that showcases these personalities. Everything from the personality to the dialogue is done in such a way that it feels like a true professional publication!
Perhaps one of the greatest strengths of this piece, in my opinion, is how the details allow for the piece to be visualized. I can picture everything from this story happening in my mind. That is one of the easiest ways to get me invested in a story. The rich detail and delightful characters make this piece truly a masterpiece, at least in my opinion. It is easily one of my favorites, and I have mentioned it to my friends in conversation before. There are even nuggets of wisdom that I find applicable to real life, such as how having someone seek out information and generate their own conclusions as an effective teaching method.
I hope you keep writing Seel'vor. I am truly enchanted by this piece, and it makes me happy to know the real story of Harry, Hermione, and all of the people that they have encountered! Positively stellar work!
Andrew :)
Ada1229 chapter 9 . 10/22/2018
ok so for the Goblins, about their beliefs that Goblin made items are Goblin owned only on rent to individuals until the individuals death? I honestly think it's just a cultural difference Like how Japanese manners are different, much stricter, to the looser American manners. Honestly it was rude of Harry to tell Ragnok that he was wrong about a belief he and his forefathers had for years.

I mean I wouldn't go to Japan and tell the locals that I think it's wrong to bow to higher class citizens because everyone should be equal. Nor would I expect and indeed accept them comming here and telling me I should bow to respect those higher up on the totem pole then I. It's just all around rude and if I'd have been that goblin, magic be darned I'd have told Harry off for it.
Ada1229 chapter 7 . 10/21/2018
Actually the reason Tom sent Draco to kill Dumbledore is to punish Lucius for his failure at the Ministry. Tom knows Draco is in over his head when it comes to Dumbledore, he wasn't actually expecting Draco to succeed, but he knows Lucius values his only son. I do believe cannon Dumbledore speculates that Tom was hoping that Draco would be killed or else maimed to punish Lucius for his failure at the Department of Mysteries (Ironically Draco probably became a turncoat when he realized what was his "job" 6th year was actually about and that Tom didn't actually care for Purebloods)
Ada1229 chapter 2 . 10/21/2018
I Have to critisize. What Laws are you going by? Muggle Laws or Magical laws?

Cuz even though cannon never completely covers how it works, the way I think it would logically work is the British Wizarding world, despite their belief to the contrary, still has to answer to the Crown or at least the Prime Minister (see the first chapter of book 6) which probablly means despite their doing the exact opposite, they have to still follow Muggle laws.

I actually did look Britian Child Protection laws too and whille in 1989 it was stated that children are usually best looked after within their family said children could actually be removed by authorities if abuse was found. Said children could also actually go to authorities and present evidence that stated so

In any case Dumbledore as of 1989 at least could have had Harry relocated to a better home if he had gotten pictures of the Dursleys just attempting to hurt Harry. He need only have turned the evidence into the MUGGLE authorities. A well timed photo with Vernon's fist raised above Harry mabye some glamors to show bruises on Harry and the authorities would have been all over that and the Wizarding world could have done nothing about it because again, they are supose to be answerable to the Muggle government.

Just sayin
Mimeomia chapter 3 . 9/26/2018
This could be SOOOOOOOOOOO much fucking better if only you skipped all the underage smut OR keep the Mc's emotions consistent, i.e, ''I'm so gonna kill someone and get revenge for my Hermione! [two seconds later]weeeeeeeeeeeee!''

What really killed me was the ending, ''Oh, Herms ILU and missed you so much!, Now let me eat your pussy!''
