|Reviews for Blind To Faith|
| BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 1 . 10/29/2008
It's interesting, but...the first paragraph in this drabble, where Mal is think-expounding on the lack of need to worship God? Echoes the thought process of someone who has been betrayed...betrayed by someone they loved, IMO. Mal's reticence to have faith in anything post-Serenity Valley has always struck me as a parallel to someone learning their father is not the perfect figure they believed he was when they were young but the flawed and mistake-capable figure they truly are...and that epiphany really hurts. Hurts like having the love of your life stomp on your heart, I imagine.
Still...brilliant piece of writing, and excellent wrap-up at the end with Mal realizing he can have faith in his family.
