Imagination-Parade chapter 1 . 10/28/2008
Oh my goodness, that was simply amazing! Everything was just incredible, from the case, to Brennan's reaction, to the the romance at the end. I absolutely loved it, and again, you have a great story here!

Aching Bones chapter 1 . 10/28/2008
Hi there,

'I was too afraid to even touch the clothes I'd been wearing when that killer touched me, even though I was completely unhurt. But I needed the water to wash the filth of his hands off the clothes before I could stand to remove them'

That crawling feeling...the one where you just can not touch what is disgusting...

Scary how all the victims of the case looked liked Bones...and it would take Angela to notice that...It was interesting how even though they were all prostitutes Booth was still for a moment worried about Bones...

'He looked at me then, levelly, his usually expressive eyes shuttered. "Don't even think about it'...

Booth knew just what she was thinking of doing...

'I suggested a course of action to Booth last night. He didn't like it. He's trying to think of another." I replied. She nodded, confused. Confused was good. She'd have protested if I told her what I was thinking'...

And Bones was definitely right about Angela...it was good that she remained confused, for now...

'I'd come to accept his overprotectiveness, and not just as the cost of our working together. My feminist self remained aghast at the extent of Booth's alpha maleness, but the part of me that was his friend, and that wanted him as more than my friend, too, didn't mind this seething display of concern.'...

Just love how Booth pull her to him in a vice like hug...This is no guy hug...it is one bourne out of utter frustration and no control in the matter...

Gosh but Angela would die a death if she knew just who that 'vice cop' actually was...

Bones was definitely going to look the part with that outfit and even managed to fit the gun in her cleavage too, much to Booth's surprise...loved how he could appreciate her even in such an outfit...

'These boots did make your hips sway more than average. I supposed I'd gotten the gap between the top of the stockings and the bottom of the skirt correct, to judge by his nonverbal reaction.'...

'He was looking straight at my face and ignoring the rest of my outfit as I returned to the room, and picked up the trench coat I thought it advisable to wear between here and the truck'...

Loved the whole stakeout bit and how Bones handled it...It was amazing how she forgot just what she was wearing and how skimpy it was when she went into work mode looking for any evidence in the car...she was definitely showing a little more than she wanted to...it was very hard for Booth not to notice...

'I slid back out, adjusted my breasts, then reached down to pop the trunk with the button on the driver's side floor, only to hear a strangled "Jesus Christ, Bones."

"Well, then go get my trenchcoat," I suggested'...

The other agent was definitely appreciating the eyeful he was getting too...

'The agent nodded, now staring at my cloth-concealed chest. "They're just breasts," I said, and he blushed and looked away'...

Love how Bones was thinking about Booth when she was going back with him to interrogate the suspect...

'It should have been annoying, and it used to be. At some point, it had become endearing. I stifled further thoughts about Booth, then. I was becoming adept at it. I'd been taxed by that embrace the other night, and feeling the solid heat of him against me. But he had that line, and we were professionals, and in any event, he wasn't interested in me. He was simply an alpha-male.'...

As serious as it all was, I just had to laugh at Sweets reaction...

'He swallowed and averted his gaze as I belted the fabric again, then sat in the chair opposite the window, and waited for Booth to be done. He half turned, looking at me'...

Poor Bones...she could not wash herself enough, or should I say she could not wash the clothes on her enough before she could even touch them...Typcial her when Booth asked through the door was she alright...

'No, I'm fine'...

'Not that Booth was, he is always exceptional, but my general disgust with the gender and my continuing creeping response to my interactions with the killer weren't something I could explain without crying again. Booth dealt with that enough. This was a mess of my own making'...

Bones could not eat...she just sipped her glass of wine...She knew that if she did not eat something Booth would make excuses to stay until she did so she had two spring rolls...It is amazing the amount of food Booth can put away...

For the hundreth time that evening since her shower she felt like she wanted to shower again...

'But I didn't want to shoo Booth out the door, and I was used to delayed (or never attained) gratification, so I stifled the urge again.'...

'They saw it on the front lines, every day- something I'd mostly escaped, as I grew older, more professionally respected, and let's face it, richer. Having money will do a lot to make men at least act respectfully toward you, even if they don't mean it'...

'My need for a caring touch, not one moved by impersonal hatred, prompted my unconscious response, and I turned to look at him full in the face for the first time since he'd come in to the bathroom. I was aroused by his proximity, furious with the killer, angry at myself for my weak response- a welter of emotion, all in all. He saw it all in an instant, the expression in his eyes tender and yet increasingly responsive to whatever showed of my attraction to him in the moment.'...

Their love making was just wonderful...Booth succeeding in eradicating any sense of being dirty or soiled from Bones...love all the terms of endearment he used...

'So... delicious...So beautiful..." he said, and "incredible," and "sexy," and "unbelievable," and lastly, "delicious," again...So... unbelievably... perfect...'...

It was totally understandable how she did not feel the urge to shower when she woke up...

Love how he cleaned up after her getting rid of everything he knew she was not able to deal with...

'I leaned with a thump against the counter behind me. "Not all guys are creeps, Bones," he'd said. It was true. But only one of them was Booth, the one who cleaned up after me when I couldn't, and who cleaned up with me when I could. A partner- and now something more. I looked forward to finding out how things would turn out.'

This was a wonderful story and I really enjoyed it...thank you...

Monisse chapter 1 . 10/28/2008
Just amazing. Although my eyes were slowly burning from the incredible amount of time that it took to read this, and even though you could have splited it into some chapters, it was all worth! Every single word was worth the time of reading.

I loved the whole concept of "cleaning" and all the detailed descriptions are amazingly graphic in a good way. Also, I don't use to favor stories writen in the first person but you worked this one perfectly, it was another point in favor to how well this story worked. It made me feel all the emotions and feeling captured here.

And one thing is true, I loved how you made Booth stand as the great man he really is, and that she could finally see it in the end.

Maybe this story could have a continuation?

All in all, it's a master piece and I only have to congratulate you for writing such an amazing story. I hope to read more from you in the future.

I'm waiting for my Booth chapter 1 . 10/28/2008
Wow. This story was fantastic. While something like this s still far in the future for our characters on the show, it doesn't seem out of character for either of them to me. In fact, it may take something traumatic for Brennan to let Booth in and not want to run. Going off now to see if you have any other stories I might have missed. Do you write on the Boneyard?

Thanks for a great, tasteful, but still hot story of Brennan and Booth finally getting together.
