I never enjoyed much reading about decoration. You just changed my mind. Their home by the beach felt so cosy and the whole scene was so relaxed, so easy to read, it was lovely really, you had my attention from beginning to end. And having Wynter wake up Harry at the beginning of the chapter was a really nice picture. The family's interactions were heart-warming. Nicely done!

Okay, I'm really blown away by it: your ability to transition from a torture scene to a somewhat fluff one where Harry cleans Tom, it feels as tender as reading a scene where a lover tends to their beloved in a lovely display of after care or just laying there and soaking into the bliss after a round of passion. Even if he's drying blood off of Tom's body! I'm stunned!

Even though they've had their relaxed moments, ones of basking in not thinking of complications and just be a family, some by themselves and some with their lovely toddler, some of which made me laugh... I guess this is the first time I thought to myself they're a couple through and through. They have passed the honeymoon stage and they are in a mature relationship, one in which he is able to look through Tom's darkness and stop ignoring it, instead he accepts Tom for whom he is. He is willing to dry someone else's blood off his beloved's body, for Merlin's sake! And the realization brings me joy.

Not to say Harry isn't capable of dark deeds or that he doesn't possess a darkness of his own, I agree with Sirius's statement, we all got that inside us. And not to say Harry isn't probably relieved, he is human (even though we know animals can also feel). I just reckon unless provoked into the threshold, he wouldn't act on his darker desires, and his motherhood definitely redefined his boundaries.

This chapter was so well-written from beginning to end and I'm positively astonished by it. Thank you for sharing the story. I'll stop typing or else I'll just sit there and won't turn the page. I often read really fast and that is my flaw but I just can't help it when I face such a compelling and thought-provoking narrative. Works like yours are the reason I keep reading more and more fanfics. So thank you.

Are you sure you don't have much experience on that kind of scene? That was... something. I imagined it all and I'll admit I don't always picture what I read, so I appreciate it very much when I'm able to.

I'm really tempted to say it was artistically, aesthetically done, developed but while writers can get away with pretty much anything, even murder, it is only done in their imagination, you see, I'm not sure a reader has the same privilege. At least, moral-wise, I'm really torn. And to think that a scene was written in such a way that it got me morally beating myself for finding it fascinating, well that just doesn't happen every day. It's a huge accomplishment, you can be proud of yourself, really I would. I can only hope I'll be able to mimic the deed with my writing someday. And that just throw me into the loop again. Know that your work will be imprinted on my mind, an impression like that, the sensations spurred, the thoughts inspired, it ain't something forgettable. From this chapter, you made your work remarkable to me. I don't think I'll be able to resist re-reading some day.

For now, I can only hope you haven't given up on the story and that this year will be filled with more chapters. I'm close to reaching the latest one published and you already got me compelled to read more.
